I bought an Alfa Romeo Giulietta from Ancaster Alfa Romeo Welling. The car itself was fine and good value but I found the dealership and the customer service really poor. There were multiple errors made by them throughout the process. An example is they told me the car had an alarm (so I got insurance based on having an alarm) When I got the car, it didn't have an alarm. I pointed this out and their attitude was 'oh yeah, we made a mistake' and that was it. So not only did I not have a car alarm, I have to pay extra on my car insurance. The key to good customer service is sorting out problems quickly especially when it is your error. Ancaster repeatedly provided poor customer service to me. I'm surprised they are still in business.
The sales team are good, but when you return for a service, the service team are dreadful, one person in particular is VERY rude. Both myself and my daughter have had numerous issues with the service team and the lies regarding delays sourcing parts, and when the car is returned is has never been checked, and the job has been bodged. The latest issue that drove me to write a review is they are unable to look at why the LED brake lights on my Giulietta are not working because their diagnostic machine has been out of order for two weeks.
