Advertising cars not ready don’t even have them in stock, when values asked why not ready start shouting and sweating Andy in he manager , rude misleading customers , will report to trading standards

I purchased a vehicle in January. My previous van was used in part exchange and the value was much more than they offered. I saw what they sold it for. I also purchased it from Anchor. My new van has been disappointing from the start and I won’t buy here again.

Bought a transit from these cowboys for 11k. had an oil leak upon purchase which they said they would sort out, they didn't! then engine starts making funny noise after 250 miles, took it back to them, they said they changed the water pump and aux belts (all thing that should have been checked by them beforehand) anyway engine still makes funny noise and van still leaks oil. cant be bothered taking it back to them again as they are utterly useless. do yourself a favor and avoid them like the plague!

Several reasons not to buy from this company. Having picked up my van 14 months ago I did not even make it back to Portsmouth before something on the van failed the electric window failed to work so they told me over the phone to claim off the warranty which I found bad as I had only just picked it up. 6 months later the flywheel and clutch went so they told me to drive there so they could check it on the way there 5th and 6th failed so more problems, they fitted a recon gearbox and before even leaving the front gate it would not go into 1st and 2nd they told me it needed new cables and they had only just found out even though I had to drive for a hour and a half to get it and they new that but could not be bothered to tell me there was more problem, having not had the van for a week I opted to get it done near me as I would have had to had to go back and come back to Anchor. Now 6 Months later driving around a bend I hear a massive bang and thought Id had a blow out, on looking under the van it looked like a drive shaft had gone because there was grease everywhere, after more expense of having it towed back and checking it the next day the gearbox mount nut has fallen off and the gearbox had fallen out, if the nut was done up correctly it would not have fallen out as I was doing 10 mph at the time damage was minimal. Do not buy a van from these people unless you live less than 5 miles away they have cost us about £2500 in repairs to a van that was bought so I would have a reliable van. Shocking customer service, fobbed off the customer, excuse after excuse, poor repairs, on this occasion a van that was dangerous to drive.
