Bought a 13-year-old car over an hour away. Part-ex figures agreed during the week were not honoured on viewing day, later agreed after phone call. Collection delayed 2 weeks for a repair. On collection the car was only available after payment, no warranty was offered. On the drive home the start-stop system was showing a fault - a brake vacuum sensor which cost £47.85 to replace. Rear exhaust heat shield was loose and rattling, wheels had not been refurbed. Service book was marked as air filter renewed but the filter was very dusty, oil level was on minimum and dark. Contacted dealer afterwards about the sensor and other preparation points, had difficulty getting a response and reimbursement took a long time to arrive. Car is now fully serviced by myself and running well, but I would advise future buyers to check all preparation points thoroughly before concluding collection. I would not use this trader again.
