Hi Alex, Following your review there is two sides to every story. You came into our showroom today and informed us that we had lied to you about servicing your car. We service all of our cars before collection, today I phoned the parts company Whoppee Motor Factors in Frimley Green quoted your registration number in front of you and they confirmed the parts that had been ordered and fitted to your Vauxhall Corsa. They faxed over the invoice for the Oil Filter, Air Filter, Front Brake Discs and Brake Pads and I handed you this copy today and also showed you physically the new brakes we fitted on the service through your alloy wheels which can be visibly seen. I would be more than happy again to show anybody who wished to see evidence of this. In regards to Vauxhall commenting about the oil that now looks contiminated 7 months after the service from us, this was caused by the car not being able to complete its diesel particular filter regeneration and vehicle still continually being used. You phoned us and we booked in the car on 6th June good will gesture (2 months out of warranty) to fix the reason why the car wasn’t doing the regeneration, today I even showed you in our diary the date that you never turned up. You didn’t bring the car in for any repairs and continued to drive the car 4/5 months regardless of it needing a repair. I’ve also spoke to your own mechanic in Ash who also confirms the damaged dpf filter was caused by the car being driven months after it should of come into us for repair. I know the reason you couldn’t get into us for a repair was because you found it hard to get time off work and our mechanics are only available to inspect Mon-Friday. Unfortunately not turning up on the 6th June and continuing to drive the car into october has caused this issue for you. Even after you took the car to a alternative mechanic I did mention the parts replaced were expensive and had you of spoken to us we could of sourced you parts at a lower price using our trade discounts. It was very hard to explain all of this earlier when you were in the offfice accusing us of not servicing your car. I wasn’t in anyway violent towards you and the customers waiting to pickup their new car even commented how well I handed what you were saying. The end of the day if you had dropped the car to us on the 6th June for any repairs this whole situation wouldn’t of snowballed to this level. We can’t fix cars when customers don’t bring them to us when booked in, and I believe are not responsible for damaged caused by ignoring warning lights on your dashboard for months and months. In regards to Vauxhall updating or being due safety recalls they usually write to the registered keeper, today with you I checked on the dvla website using the mot history your car is not showing any outstanding recalls. I’m very passionate about my company and good service we deliver and have done as a family business of 19 years. I will defend it when it’s being unreasonably reviewed.

Hi There, I’m sorry you’ve had a problem with your vehicle, if you’d like to call us on 01252-323244 we will always look to help a customer out. With regards to our warranties we offer a 30 day or 1000 mile warranty whichever comes soonest, we also heavily subsidise Autoguard warranties which are available 6 or 12 months. With that warranty we would of mentioned it can be used nationwide, So if you’re not local to our dealership you can use it at a repairer nearer to home. Again sorry you’ve had a problem but please get in touch and we’ll try our best to restore happiness to owning the car.

I had a very similar problem that cost me £1200. Tony was very aggressive with me when I came down to Arena. According to them, every other dealer and mechanic is a liar if it means they made any kind of mistake. I asked Tony for a copy of the security footage of our meeting. He told me no but never gave a reason as to why. I am currently looking into legal action.

Hi There, Firstly thank you for your business, in regards to the trade descriptions act mentioned on your invoice we have to legally have it on there. Because we don’t own the used cars we sell all from new and monitor mileage up to the point of sale to you therefore we can’t say it’s genuine. However we do all checks that are available to us, we only buy cars with low previous owners, service history, we check the previous recorded mileages on the mot history recorded by the dvla and also hpi check all vehicles making sure they are all free of mileage descrepancys.
