Bought the extended service and Mot plan with my daughters first car Volkswagon Polo from Arnold clark. failed second MOT needed a new fuse for washers costing £1.99 from Halford. Arnold clark price £25, Handbrake cable nededed adjusted, brake shoes needed cleaned. Rear wheel cylinder leaking new exhaust centre sleeve needed Arnold clarke total cost £605.15. Local garage near my home address £215.00, £265 as i will get my local garage to do and MOT resit. As Arnold clark want to charge me an extra £25.00 for an MOT resit even though it says on the goverment website for DVLA MOT resit free if return within 10 Days. Arnold clark at their finest Coffee machine not even working in the place, No offer of alterntive not even a bottle of water. Not very friendly enviroment. Go elsewhere in my opinion.

So if your reading this youve probably already bought a car from crow road possibly already regretting it …. So I bought a £15k car from them when I arrived on the agreed day to collect the car was in valet and the inside was still wet so couldn’t get a good look around anyway I did all the paperwork and drove off the forecourt ready for my 130 mile drive home when I got home I phoned them to address a few concerns. The sales guy was unavailable to take my call and he would call me back never did I called again the next day and it was the same receptionist who took my call the previous previous day eventually get a call back 2days later So there’s no owners manual there’s no service history book there’s a slow puncher in rear tyre and finally there was 2 stone chips in windscreen now when paying full value for a car you expect these to be here ohh and here’s the exciting bit I traded in my old car to Robert the sales guy to tell me it’s only worth £50 as it’s previously a insurance write off not to my knowledge but fair enough he then told me it would be scrapped as they couldn’t sell that vehicle on. To my belief the car was crushed. NOPE the car is now forsale on Facebook marketplace I’ve been a long customer at Arnold clarke for many years and for sure this will be my last. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced worst after sales I’ve experienced PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP

The service area is staffed by a bunch of clueless monkeys who don't have one neuron between them. This is not my first bad experience, it happens time after time. Car, VW Polo had a faulty drivers window switch which need replacing under warranty. Upon contacting them the receptionist stated that perhaps I should try VW as they were Ford, really? After two further days of trying to talk to someone the car was booked in for repair. Their booking procedure is antiquated and outdated and nobody calls you back. Car went in for repair but upon collection it was noticed that a large part of the door card was dented and badly marked! The service monkey must have taken a crow bar to the door instead of a trim tool!!!! Yet another lengthy process to get it re-booked!!! Customer service is non existent and I doubt very few technicians are fully trained. Plenty of good local independents about who care and are authorised to carry out repairs and servicing using genuine VW parts.

Will never buy from arnold clark again bought car from crow road branch 18 months ago witch cost me 13k and after 18 months it's laying in a garage with timing chain gone had 3 years service and mot with arnold clark (ment to be piece of Mind )and they couldn't even pick up the fault when it was serviced and mot .made number of calls about it not interested just interested in taking your money at the start then after that don't care about you sold me car without service history and told me to take it up with bmw witch I did but cause no service history bmw would entertain it been robbed and will never step foot anywhere near this place.Avoid aviod

Visited the dealership and after some negotiations decided To buy it, but the lockdown came in and I couldn’t get in to pick it up. When they opened again I was told that it had been sold to someone else, without a call to me.

I recently our purchased a car at the VW Arnold Clark on crow road. The service from James Turner from the moment I walked through the door was excellent. He had my every need in mind and answered any question I may have had! Even after the point of sale, James made sure I was happy with my purchase and making sure I had made the correct choice. Absolutely sick to the back teeth of Arnold Clark VW Glasgow. Told one thing and the rest don’t add up from getting no where with sales person to then going to James galbrieth to then Chris henshaw who I have got to say shouldn’t be a manager of a garage his attitude, his language his customer service skills absolutely disgraceful. 3rd car I’ve bought and rest assured the last one I will ever buy. If the problem that I’ve been chasing up for 14 weeks I will be getting trading standards involved. Car was disgusting when left the garage through mot and service, window wipers not working right, 2 chunks out tyres one of which suppose to be brand new, one key when told there was 2 14 weeks to actually get a key still waiting to get it programmed to which I was told it was booked In phoned garage that’s suppose to be programming it and nothing booked in. Honestly worse customer service ever

I recently bought a VW Tiguan from this Arnold Clark branch in Glasgow and I can not recommend them highly enough. My experience was top class and James turner, the salesman, was very friendly, attentive and put us at ease throughout the whole process. Will be back in the future for our next purchase.

We purchased a VW from Arnold Clark Crow Road and picked up the car on Sunday 03 March. It was a very smooth transaction, very professional staff, helpful and friendly. The car was extremely clean. I would like to thank our customer service individual Stuart Craig for a very good experience, and even though we test drove a couple of VW's, he was very accommodating. Stuart was very knowledgeable with our many questions. What a good purchase! Our thanks to the entire staff at this particular Arnold Clark as everyone was so friendly and helpful.
