Paid a deposit then told I had to agree to buy the car to hold it for me. Hadn’t even seen it in person at that point. 2 weeks later I’m still chasing for my deposit back.

Car mot on Monday not with Arnold Clark booked in for service with them on Wednesday text to say come collect got there driving out garage all these warning lights on dash flashing steering pulling to the left. Took it straight back to be told it was nothing they had done needs a new part etc funny how no lights on for the year I have had it and as soon as they do work on it I am having issues. Had to wait for over an hour for them to tell me this, would not recommend taking any service or MOT plans out with them.

On 15/09/2023 I purchased the Vauxhall Corsa SA72 FHB Since taking possession of the goods, I have had the following issues: 15/9 Tyre Warning came on 16/9 Return for Tyre Warning Light; 18/9 Tyre Warning came on AM Return for Tyre Warning Light PM; 30/9 Warning message “Airbag(s) or seat belt(s) pretensioner fault “ came on and phone and told to return on Monday 2nd October 3/10 Car still with dealer and only picked ten 4/10 we sent the car to an official Vauxhall Dealer to check the car and a number of faults were identified by the diagnostic system. They have suggested due to a wiring issue. Photos of diagnostic readout sent to Paul Curran and CC Paul Taylor on 4/10 Have been told the above issues have not shown up in Arnold Clark checking of the car and the problems have been caused by myself and the car is fine and there are no issues. The car is now with an Independent vauxhall service centre and they have been looking into the wiring issues and found further sensor issue. I have been without car for 18 days. Conclusion either Arnold Clark Linwood techincal team is incompetent or the Sales Team is not telling the truth as they kept telling me that they find no faults when another Vauxhall Service centre has found so many issues and Arnold Clark when contacted by Vauxhall admitted there is a software Recall, which they did not admit it when we had all these issues. Stay away from Arnold Clark Vauxhall Linwood.

I have bought at least 6 cars in the past from Arnold Clark but after this experience I won’t be going back. My 3 year old £21k car I bought from Arnold Clark on 23rd December has no heating, alarm going off constantly, EV battery only holding half charge, false tyre pressure warnings, dodgy key, not FSH as told. Originally told they couldn’t order parts as the system was down. Then the parts aren’t available from the supplier. Today I was told nobody could talk to me as the systems are still down. The only people who have responded are customer service. Nobody in sales or management will even return my call. Customer Service have not even managed to get anyone to call me. 3 weeks in and I have an undriveable car and Arnold Clark Linwood won’t even call me back.

Stay clear, was sold a dodgy car with catalogue of issues from wrong mileage on MOT to car not been serviced, Linwood Vauxhall took the money and didnt want to deal with their mistakes, got passed from pillar to post ended up just taking the car out the garage, if you dont want to get ripped off and value your time go anywhere but Arnoldclark they are robbers, aftersales/ customer service is zero!

Possibly the best customer service I have ever experienced. Ask for Gary Wilson. A long standing issue was resolved by Gary after 2 mechanics failed to spot the issue. I am no fan of Arnold Clark after a bad experience 14 years ago but Vauxhall sent me to my local dealership. Wore a face covering at all times which is very respectful and took the time to solve my Android Auto issue.

extremely poor service from Arnold Clark Linwood VAUXHALL as the brach only cares of takes the deposit for a car and forgetting all about it for weeks and even after contacting them they still didn't have a single answer to what was going on as all they could do was blame their member (Ian) of staff from one to another rather than sort out the issue overall highly unprofessional service wouldn't recommend anyone to go through with such nonsense and such moron staff members. (WOULD NEVER CONSIDER BUYING A CAR FROM ARNOLD CLARK VAUXHALL LINWOOD AGAIN)

A shocking example of poor customer service and lack of professionalism from sales management. I recently made a purchase from Arnold Clark Linwood Vauxhall and irrespective of my spend, the after care service I received (one week later) was less than poor. Allow me to explain. I purchased the car remotely and picked it up early evening in the dark. The salesman that I conducted the transaction with was accommodating I looked around the car from the outside, in the dark and then left the showroom. After returning home and looking over the car in more detail I began to notice the poor interior finish. Little or no effort was made to valet a car. I took it upon myself to have the car professionally valeted and asked for a detailed report and their findings are listed below Please note: Other opinions are available The car had only been wiped over and hoovered. There was women's make up residue down the door pilers, indicator arms, gear knob and steering wheel. The seat has similar marks and additional chocolate related stains were found. All of the door hinging had not been touched and the engine bay looked as if the car had been driven through a dust storm. So, with that in mind, I wrote directly to Mark Currie at Arnold Clark, Sales Manger, underlining just some of the issues. Here is his response and I quote part of his less than profession response "The interior should have been perfect.,and we don’t clean under bonnets because of engine immobilisers and water getting into electrics but that doesn’t stop us from taking a brush or dry cloth around the metal areas and clean up" You'll note from his tone and response that "The interior should have been perfect", but it wasn't Mark. Neither was your email Those of you that have taken the time to read my review will also notice that there are a larger number of EX Arnold Clark customers that have had poor customer service reviews followed with a standard on line response along the lines of "we are sorry to hear blah blah blah ......" etc etc. On this occasion, Mark Currie should, in my opinion, of admitted short failings by Arnold Clark and offered to rectify it. He chose to be short in his response, unprofessional in his approach. A very disappointed and unsatisfied ex customer

WOULD NEVER CONSIDER BUYING A CAR FROM ARNOLD CLARK LINWOOD AGAIN! My car is now in a garage with so many problems. I got told before i baught the car that they had done a full service, everything is repaired and up to good standards and checked over. My car doesnt even have a spare wheel which i got told it is in the boot. My front 2 tyres are loosing air due to a problem with the valves. The brake discs and service brakes need fixing and my mechanic doesnt understand how the car has even being able to come to a safe stop due to the illegal state the brakes are in. I will be putting in for an official complaint.
