I booked an appointment to view a car, when we arrived the sales man was busy so sent us on a test drive with a junior staff member, when we got back we were asked to wait in the reception area as the salesman was still busy, waited about 15 minutes only for the salesman to walk over and say 'sorry the cars been reserved on line you can't have it'. If this how you treat all your customers i can't see a future for this salesman he was called Scott. Bought two cars from them in the past one having an array of issues, we will not be back that's for sure.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Place is a scam, drove 5 hours to get my car and everything seemed fine, got home and no oil in car, rattling chain and clutch slipping and in limp mode! Took hours to get on the phone to them cause the manger is ether off or out so I was told but as soon as I put a complaint in he phoned straight away, avoiding to do warranty work after them having my car for a month! Really rude and disrespectful on the phone, breaching there contract for warranty, if you want a car that will last you a day this place is for you

Don’t go here unless you’ve got money to burn. Looks lovely, get the deals they badger you to do because they’re value for money. Once you’ve got the car drove it away they don’t want you back unless you’re spending. No such thing as customer service, they’ll make the car legal to run but drive it a few weeks and it won’t be.
1 star: Bad Updated a day ago PLEASE READ.The BBC have also been investigating Arnold Clark Just a update on my fight claim for selling damaged repaired cars and not putting it right the BBC have been investigating Arnold Clark too I’ve found reports going back to 2015 In total, the investigation found 70 cars on sale at, Arnold Clark that had previously been written-off but it suspects that there are "many more". Cars that have been written off by an insurer means it's either so damaged that it's not safe drive, or it is still safe to drive but costs more to fix than the value of the car. Nothing bad to say about this dealership, the whole buying experience was great and the car was really clean and exactly as described. I have had no issues what so ever and I would certainly recommend Arnold Clark Workington to my friends and family.

I bought a Siat Ibiza from Arnold Clarke in April. I have nothing bad to say at all the service was very good and I am very happy with the car. No problems at all! I would certainly recommend.
