Never thought we would own a Jaguar but we Part Exchanged our Golf in July for a 59 plate XK in Claret with Caramel Leather Interior . We dealt with Duncan at Arun Classic Cars and the whole process went without a hitch. Going from a 1.4 to a 5.0 V8 was so different. Overtaking is so much easier and the Jag is so comfortable and superb to look at in comparison. We often get nice remarks from strangers when we are out and about. Lotus esprit - bought from Arun Independent Jaguar & Classic Car Specialist as a well maintained and outstanding example... 2 years later she has been on the road for 4 months , the job list is now at 42 items and I’m 10K in. on inspection on day 2 tyres 2 years out of date, carbs not tuned therefore emissions would fail MOT, turbo air hose 2 holes, allowing debris into turbo , waste gate for turbo stuck shut. brake seized front. now replaced, radiator, water pump , alternator, clutch flywheel was incorrect replaced, pressure plate , fork , etc etc .... when i submitted the invoices for work i was told oh you need to speak to our legal team good bye. i should say they had already fixed one problem that had to be re done as they had fitted the wrong part. NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THIS GARAGE . was told by owner, "well if you cant afford the repairs you should have bought a lotus "
