ASM Automotive is not even worth one star. Rang at 1.35pm in order to enquire about a vehicle on their website. Amo answered the telephone, said that he was busy and would call me back in 5-10 minutes. Two and a half hours later, no call back, so I rang again. Once more Amo answered the telephone. Asked what happened to my call back, to which his response was "It's a car, not a kidney!" I asked to speak to somebody else in the company as I didn't like his attitude and lack of manners. He told me that he is the owner, and I deal with him or deal with no one. I put the phone down in disgust/
I purchased a discovery 3 from ASM this week and could not be happier with the service. After viewing the car during the week the guys had the car serviced, valeted and MOT’d and delivered it to my door on the weekend. I will definitely return for my next vehicle.
I purchased an excellent BMW 6 series through ASM and the sales guys provided a great depth of knowledge and the car has been spot on.

I purchased a merc glc from them in October. I found the guys extremely helpful, they explained everything in detail about the car, it was very tidy and a great price. there was no pushy salesman, just very informative and professional. A pleasure to deal with and would strongly recommend ASM Automotive to others.
This is a warning to anyone thinking of buying a car from these guys...dont you will regret it! I had a very bad experience with them and would not recommend buying from here.

I bought a BMW Z3 M Coupe from this dealer. Not only did i find him to have lot of knowledge of these cars. He spent alot of time letting me go through the car & history in detail with him. After my purchase of the car i took it back to his mechanic for servicing etc. He even re-sold the car for me a couple of years later. top marks for customer service & after sales to this chap. i have bought 2 cars of him since & still get the same good service.
Purchased vehicle which appeared in good condition at point of sale, faults became apparent during drive home when the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Vehicle riddled with electronic faults, defective brake system, defective gearbox. Repair under warranty was unsuccessful and vehicle came back with same faults, got a refund and was charged £250 for the privilege of returning a defective car which he expected me to drive for 90 miles with brake warning lights on display. Car also had 1800 miles more on odo than advertised and looking at history had clearly been off road for much longer than he said. Wouldn't buy a pushbike from this guy.

The particular customer did have an issue with his vehicle once he got home. Although it was on a Saturday evening I still responded straight away. Although we don't offer a pick up or delivery service, we did picked up his car within 2 working days and dropped it back 48 hrs later. However, within a day of delivering it back the car got the same issue and then the following Monday we offered him a full refund on the basis he drops the car back. The car was fine to drive (however it should have been driven on restricted performance) but the customer refused to and from the start was being difficult. After then having to speak to his wife (which by the way was the voice of reason and was a joy to deal with) they agreed to drop the car back but then due to us wanting the car back asap and the fact that it was getting the difficult for them to drop it back we both agreed to send a 3rd party recovery company to pick the car up thus saving then the trip and getting us the car back so to refund them (minus the recovery charge). What this customer has failed to mention is anything about our response time and the fact we picked up the vehicle and offered a refund fairly promptly. Even when I spoke to the customer at the time he did praise our customer service but was frustrated with the reoccurring fault (understandably). I think also complaining about mileage advertised incorrect by 1,800 miles on a high mileage car is a little harsh and we don't always get it right!!! I couldn't have been any fairer and am sorry that this customer felt like they had such a bad experience.
Car not cleaned and ready for appointment, After sales is non existant. Just rude and not bothered at all.
Still awaiting paperwork from ASM Redditch, have no idea when this will come and have given chasing them up on this. They did fix my car, just the communication was poor and should be looked into. Just my advice for ASM if you want to improve and have more people recommend you and return.

The paperwork mentioned in this review is submitted to DVLA Swansea, who at the time was closing all there offices so delays were caused. So we was all at the mercy of them in this scenario unfortunately. I had a lot of issues with documents not being processed promptly, however this was out of our hands. Apologies if that wasn't relayed coherently.
