I originally ordered the car in October, but when it arrived in December, it was not to the specification which had been ordered, which I might add was not the fault of Pete at Aston's. Vauxhall gave me the option of a price reduction or a re-order. I chose the latter. Pete immediately re-ordered the car complete with the required extras, only to be told that the heated windscreen option was no longer available. After I had made a series of phone calls to Vauxhall -as a heated windscreen was available if I'd ordered one on line- it transpired that Vauxhall had forgotten to add the option to the latest order book. Finally, the re-order was placed in January, with Pete having secured an agreement with Vauxhall that both the original price and trade-in price would be honoured. The car finally arrived during the last week in April. Even then it wasn't straight forward as Pete had to spend ages reminding Vauxhall what they had agreed to back in December , ensuring that I got the deal which had originally agreed. I finally took delivery of the car on 6/5/21. As I live some distance away from Melton Mowbray, Pete arranged for the car to be delivered to me without charge. It arrived on the back of a trailer driven by a highly efficient and very pleasant guy called Andy, who took the time to explain things to me and run through all the necessary paperwork. Although it has been a somewhat stressful situation with all the delays etc, I must add that none of it was the fault of Pete at Astons' who has been very professional and supportive and who ensured I got a few nice extras courtesy of both Vauxhall and the dealer as compensation for the wait and hassle. I am very pleased with the car and it has been well worth the WAIT
We saw a vehicle advertised for sale and went to Astons to test drive it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The sales adviser Liam was a joy to talk to and explained all of the procedures and gave us great reassurance and confidence to buy from Astons. He was very knowledgeable and went that extra mile to make us feel valued as customers. After careful consideration we decided not to buy the car which drove like a dream. Liam was understanding and gave us alternatives and options to tailor our needs. He is a credit to the company. Customer service is lacking in many companies today but not at Astons. We will not hesitate to use Astons again .A big special thanks to Liam.
I have just purchased a Grandland X from Astons Vauxhall and have to say the customer service is very good even when done by phone or email. The car was delivered to me in Milton Keynes along with a pork pie, who could ask for more.
We went to view the used cars and particularly an automatic. I’d initially spoken with Aston’s in the morning and said we would be along later that morning. On arrival we asked to speak with the lady concerned but we waited for a while and since no one came I suggested going our to look at the cars. The receptionist told me that another salesperson could help and we did expect him to accompany us to show us where the automatics were. He just said “go and look and come back to me if there’s one your interested in”. Bearing in mind we were the only customers in at the time thought it a bit odd. However, out we went to search and couldn’t see a single automatic. We couldn’t go back in the same way so I indicated to the salesman that we couldn’t see one...he didn’t offer to come out so we left. Very disappointed as you would expect a more professional service at a dealership. )
I've just purchased a brand new Mokka X Griffin Plus from Aston Vauxhall .I dealt with Katie Hill who was excellent , I have never had such an easy expereance of buying a new car before .The car was delivered by a low loader and the driver Andy who was excellent .I would thoroughly recommend Aston Vauxhall to anyone who wants to purchase a new car.
I bought a car from here in February. The customer service was very good at the start and the car was clean and in good condition when I collected it. The car was pretty expensive and I have had some issues - some of which have been a bit of a hassle to be resolved but I do really like the car.
I purchased a brand new car from Peter Battlet at Aston Vauxhall and he promised me the world. He even deliberately wrote down lower prices for instalment. Once the deal was done he did not honour any of the promises, please people do not trust them, get everything in writing.

Poor customer service, I had to do a lot of waiting around and the car was not as described. It had a few issues that the dealers have not resolved and I wouldn't recommend or use this garage again. They were very dishonest too.
Scratches and dents they said the would fix were not done when i went to collect the car. They just said they had done their best but they had not been touched if you want my opinion.
Aston Vauxhall in Melton Mowbray were very good before the sale. They fitted a tow bar which is not fit for purpose, and three weeks and this problem is still not resolved. I have been given the run around on telephone, but no progress has been made.
