There are two camps in these reviews: those who absolutely have had an awful experience and those who have had a great one. But either party are poles apart, which leads me to think that I might have been lucky in my recent purchase of an Alfa Spider from AT Cars, because for the most part, it was a positive experience. Covid didn't help as I couldn't get the car inspected before deciding to buy, but I took the plunge and was pleasantly surprised to find that my own assessment of the condition of the car was generally correct, later confirmed by an Alfa specialist garage and that Angelo was prepared to adjust the purchase price accordingly. Of course, I am not out of the 3-month warranty period yet ... But in summary, I don't have a problem with Angelo or his colleagues, they were polite and friendly. They MOT'd the car before I collected it, put in a new battery, replaced a ball joint and patched up the leaky exhaust (which I knew about). There was a broken sun visor that hadn't been fixed ... which I noticed when I test drove it, but it's hardly a deal-breaker. Moral of the story: if you aren't confident with secondhand car buying, ALWAYS get the one you'd like inspected by an expert, the additional cost will pay itself back in spades. Otherwise you are in the lap of the Gods!

Terrible service. Didn't keep to there agreement of the warranty. Tried to get in contact but ignore me. Exhausted was blowing and two front wheels where shot. They told me the car was sound and had no issues. Not true after my near £1000 bill after buying the car. Will not be coming back again. Was told it had been serviced which was a lie as cambelt and ball joints where needed to be replaced ASAP and over due.

Sells cars that aren’t fit for purpose! Nearly causing a fatal crash loosing all breaks steering etc etc!! Only having a hand break to stop! With a child in the car! He advised me to take it to a garage to have it fixed. After me saying i want to send it back because it’s not safe and he has Conned us! Costing hundreds later 3 snapped belts Then the mechanic sees the head gasket has also gone! Which this man is saying is MY doing? We drove it home and had it two days!!! Before this happened! then after agreeing to take the truck back as it’s within the first 30 days.....does nothing but makes excuses saying it’s wear and tear and not his problem basically. then when the truck is on its way via AA which HE advised me to do He shuts the shop being very RUDE and arrogant. Not helpful in ANY way. Then the next morning sends a email to say the shop was open til 9 with someone waiting. Which is a total LIE! He went home so it can’t be dropped off and said that in his email then totally changed it the next day. We have been without a car for over a month due to this and I have horses to see to daily which he was fully aware one of the reasons for buying it was to pull my horses trailer!!! Imagine if my horses where in tow when the breaks went! After being told everything was newly done. And there’s nothing that needs doing what so ever! All conversations via phone and email are recorded. We rejected the truck in the first 3 days and wanted it returned. Yet we had to wait as it was the week before Christmas and he said he won’t do anything til after. It’s got a Fresh Mot yet none of that work has been taken out. So after PROMISING that when the truck is returned FULL refund will be given. He is now sending emails of all the deductions he will be making. The man is a TOTAL CON!!!!!

Love my car and great service from start to finish from chris at AT Cars. I saw none of what people are saying in the orher reviews . Sorted out my mot and put new tyres on even though only advised

A) Check the warranty. Wasn't given the warranty paperwork ,had to ask for a copy. B) Warranty states no more than 250 pounds will be paid out. What can you get repaired on a car for that amount ??? C) Free AA cover only covers roadside breakdown NO TRANSPORT HOME OR TO A GARAGE D)My daughters car broke down and the owner said we had to pay for the transport to his garage and he said quote"SEE WHAT HE COULD DO" They promise the world and give nothing BUYER BEWARE. If possible would give AT Cars NO STARS.

Made a phone call to AT Cars to enquire about a vehicle..his attitude was chronic, couldn't care less, didn't even want to know..No wonder so many negative reviews...If this is the attitude before a sale..God help you after buying..!!

Bought a peugeot 207 from AT cars . Drives amazing best car ive had and the service from angelo and chris fantastic. Been buying cars from here for 20 years and never let me down yet. Will be back again thanks guys.

Bought a car from Angelo recently, he is your best mate when your parting with your well earned cash, only when your car goes badly wrong, you see the real Angelo, the guy is full of excuses and treats you as if you dont know anything about cars. I am out of pocket after buying and returning a car back to AT CARS. Buyer beware.
