sent money and never received goods. did anyone actually get their money back from their bank or anyone?
Long story short I saw a car for half the market price. Purchased it in full and was told I would receive a tracking number and paper work in 3 working days. I did not receive anything. Called them and there was no answer. Emailed and got no answer. Then went on the website which was no longer available. Called bank to let them know. My bank has built a fraud case and are now investigating. They are also trying their hardest to get me a refund. DO NOT SENT MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE! I am worried because I sent a photo of my passport and my home address

I was looking for a car and found what I thought was an absolute bargain, a Ford Focus 2017 ST - Line for half the market price. I contacted Autoprest that night and got a response the following morning. I was sent a "contract which I sent off in a picture beside my passport and license, the received an "invoice" with a Sc and Acc, and a personal name. IT WAS NOT A COMPANY NAME! It was a "Milan Bochnia" after I confirmed that i had sent the money they told me that they would send me tracking number when the car was on its way to london and did not speak to them till 3 days after I had paid. I was wondering why I hadn't received the tracking code so I called them to see if they could tell me, but when I called the line rang once and the went to a message that I'd never heard in all the time that I'd called them. A sort of prerecorded switchboard message. Then I emailed him the email that I had been corresponding with and asked why i hadn't gotten the code and he emailed me and told me that I would receive it soon. I then emailed him and asked for a refund and then he called me back saying that he will process my refund but it will take 3 -5 working days. I asked for immediately but he said that they could only do it in that timeline. DO NOT BUY ANY CAR THAT YOU CAN NOT PHYSICALLY SEE BEFORE PURCHASE!!! If this has happened to you please reply to this and tell me your conclusions. I would like to know if i stand a chance of getting my money back from them or my bank.

Hi The same thing happened to me last week Thursday. I saw a car VW Golf 2017 for £5,500 which is half the market price also, I then called them up and I spoke to a guy called billy grant who sounded like he was in his 50/60’s. I asked my questions and he told me why they are selling it for that price. Everything sounded legit he sent me over a contract that I filled out with a picture of my passport and sent back he then sent me the payment details which was in the name of ‘zooming trade limited’ and was TSB bank. I sent over the full £5,500 plus £120 for shipment and £100 for registering the documents. I was then told I would receive my tracking number and paper work in 3 working days. I didn’t receive a receipt as I should have which I thought was weird so I called back and was told it would take a couple of days to process. On the 3rd day I called back to say I have not received any tracking number or paperwork and the same man billy grant said I should have received it and he will check and call me back in 5 minutes. He didn’t call me back and When I called back there was no answer just an automated voicemail message that sounded like an American lady. I then went on the website and it said ‘refurbishing, will be up and running soon’. I sent autoprest and email to say I would have no choice but to contact the police if I don’t receive my paper work and tracking number and there was no response. I then called my bank to let them know exactly what happened and they built a fraud case and are now investigating. They said they will try their hardest to get me a refund and would get back to me in up to 15 days. This is the worst experience I have had. I can’t believe it! This is a scam!!
