I bought a Audi a6 from Automotive cars and received a first class service. I would highly recommend these guys, cars are reasonably priced, and very clean. I would definitely come back for another car

Feeling extremely generous giving this place and this guys a one full star . But.. let me start from the beginning-do you know saying “woman shouldn’t buy a car”- very sad that in 2021 this is actually still valid. I was about to purchase my very first car so I spoke to the owner -Graham ,saying I would love to have a fiat 500, coincidentally he has had one I the garage. we discussed it, I’ve asked if car had any accidents or issues the answer was no, but I wasn’t sure if I will be eligible for the finance I didn’t go into much details at this point. We then messaged ceveral times. I’ve only just found the Feedback he gave one of his customer on google rewievs- man purchased a car (Range Rover ) out of him and was dissatisfied and purely scammed. Okay then let’s me get through few points Graham - you described yourself and your company as providers of great customer service- whilist I’ve had the most horrible and traumatic experience any woman buying a car could have. I genuinely felt like I was served buy Mathilda’s father from Roald Dahl book. You then describe yourself as a transparent and honest - which is obviously another lie, you never said about car issues , fact that probably was involved in the accident and then you lied again that full parts will be repainted (just a small tip - there is a difference between paint and repaint) And then the part I loved the most- you said- you provide video with full walk around . Yes I got one- fully hiding all the scratches and issues which I’m happy to attach as a prove. For my question if I could see the scratch on a door I was told there wasn’t one , and still missed the fact - 1) rear bumper is scratched 2) front bumper is scratched 3) wing has been taken off the original screws and painted with even a different tone of a colour . For me questioning it mr Cox - responded he couldn’t see it until I pointed it (are we serious? )and this is the best part and I quote “it’s a cheap motor and not a new car” . Ok Graham from what I know you sell mostly- if not only used cars- are all of them in condition like mine? Does the fact that the car is used mean that it has to live your showroom in this state ? Saying to somone that the 5k car is cheap is very subjective and unprofessional, And might be also really hurtful .You describe yourself as a very good trader so I don’t think you should say things like that especially in text messages where they can be easily exposed. Does this mean that you only keep the standards high if it’s bmw, Audi or Range Rover ? (Which is also questionable looking at another mans who got scammed review and I remember you telling me laughing that - yes the job could have be done better. Very very bad approach.) Not to mention I was pushed to pay part in cash which thanks god I haven’t done.. I was told car will get full valet- it was only hoovered, sticky and scruffy - but again too cheap car to pay attention mr Cox? The car arrived with one key only which indeed looked like survived the 2nd world war - on my question to this - another super professional answer “keys get lost, some cars come only with one key “ . They also come with 2 you know .. and also getting new one by fiat is about £100- not a word was said whilist buying of course . After I got car delivered I was going to work - so when I got back I payed more attention to see all the things, I’ve texted Graham , he promissed to sort this out for me. Took us a while to get suitable Saturday - he said it will only need one day. Which is obvs dodgy however it was his own deadline, if I was told car needed to stay there for longer - that wouldn’t be an issue but that was the timeframe I was given . I’ve organised 2 people going over 1,5 in 2 cars during pandemic to get it sorted, one of them asked Graham again if the full parts will be re painted. He said yes. So what I have as a prove in messages as well. Car was delivered a day before so as mr Cox described they could prepare it. Not sure what the preparation was but - parts werent even taken off to respray, you can clearly see a spiderweb on a screws. wings has got a bubbles, it’s the worst paint job I’ve ever seen- make me wonder if I couldn’t do it better with nail varnish ... the bumper was only sprayed in little part, not full as agreed and of course not taken off for the job . The light and side of car dirty of paint and fingerprints . On my pic sending to owner he responded that he don’t know what’s he’s looking at and directed me to speak to the painter Peter. Which again so unprofessional.(Sorry Peter but I think you should change career path as this is not what you are talented with .) again this is not a part of my job to speak to painter- the car was left with you Graham and you only left work 10 minutes before I’ve arrived to you had to know what was the state of the car. I’m pushed unfortunately to raise case with trading standards and the finance company as I’ve tried to get it sorted between me and the trader with failure. I was driving my car back from that That place all in tears, filled with an anxiety and trauma after all this experience I’ve received from automotive cars and Graham . Don’t get fooled by pictures of him raising money for cancer purposes on Instagram and staff whilist he will scam you , waste you time and money.

I bought my dream car from Automotive Cars and found the entire experience incredibly easy. I dealt with Paul, with whom I communicated mostly via Whattsapp. He was polite, friendly and easy to deal with. The car was very reasonably priced and in mint condition. I test drove it on Tuesday and it was on my driveway by Thursday. Highly recommended.
