Bought what I thought was a reliable landrover freelander in April from Autoshine Motors, mot history said it had passed every mot for years , took it for a service today, complete deathtrap with fake mots. Am about to sue these charlatans. Luckily my 6 month old grandson hasn't been in the car or I would likely be on a murder charge. I suggest they contact me now or face court.

Avoid Autoshine Motors at all costs. Bought car end of Jan, car was shaking within 1 month and engine warning light flashing. Had it looked at at local garage and they diagnosed multiple serious issues with the engine. When i bought the car i was told it had a 3 month warranty to cover engine and gear box faults. Total lie, when i contacted them for help they told me it was nothing to do with them and refused to help. Terrible service, shifting cars fast and cheap without proper checks and zero come back if there are any issues. I'll be taking this up with Citizen's Advice!

Found a Corsa on Auto Trader from Autoshine Motors. I contacted him and he said in order to hold it he would need a £250 deposit. Sent the deposit straight away. I then phoned him in the morning of the day that we had arranged that i would collect the car. He said that it might have a blown Head Gasket??? He said that he would call back and confirm. I heard nothing for over a week despite calling and messaging him several times. Finally got in contact with him after phoning from a different mobile (funny that??). He confirmed that he couldnt sell me the car as it did have a blown head gasket. (Which means he sold it to someone else - the poor mug) I then said i want my deposit back. He said he would do this ASAP. I waited 3 days but still no deposit. So i had to call him off of a third mobile to get in contact as by this point he wasnt answering either of the 2 previous numbers. Spoke to him and he said and i quote - 'im having trouble transferring money into Halifax accounts???'. He then said can i send you a cheque? i said yes and gave him address details. A week passes, still no cheque? I was shocked as he had been so honest with me up until this point...... I managed to get through on a forth mobile number and said im done and im coming to see him. I then had to drive a 4 hour round trip to come and see this awesome salesman and collect the money in person as he had had the deposit for a month and this was the only way that i would see it again. As you can see from pretty much all of the other reviews this garage is an absolute joke. Never buy a car from him as you will end up with a car thats not road worthy or you wont even get a car and he will just keep your money and hope that you dont turn up.

Autoshine Motors is an awful garage . Car was I drivable 2 days after purchase the owner had no interest once sold . Disgusting service. We are taking court action against them.

I Bought a car from Autoshine Motors a little while ago. It had many faults including water leak, oil leak and a faulty handbreak. Only one of the faults was repaired under warranty all the others were "Fair wear and Tear" which is rubbish, I found all the problems before I'd even got it home... Forget customer service I was lied to on a number of occasions. But by far the most worrying was the state of the break pads... when I had it MOTd by a proper garage some 10 months later the mechanic called into the workshop to show me the discs had nothing left...and by nothing I mean all the shiney steel had gone it was just rusty bare metal, which had also ruined the pads... There is absolutely no way this had happened in 10 months... this was purchased with dangerous brakes... I've reported them to trading standards and provided photographic evidence of the brakes along with the supporting letter from the mechanic who wouldnt let me drive it away due to a real concern for our safety... Avoid this company, check out Google reviews for more unsatisfied people...

Bought my wife a BMW X3 off Autoshine Motors 12 months ago, car is currently off the road, with the same problems the car had when we bought it only now have we found out the TRUE problems , clutch and flywheel needs replacing, transfer box needs replacing, all has to be reprogrammed, total cost of repairs £3813, the warranty taken out isn't worth the paper its printed on. please don't bother wasting your time and money with Autoshine Motors.

I purchased a Renault Megane 1.5DCI from Autoshine Motors back 10 months ago, various issues have arisen from that involving; - Not receiving the service book. And when you told me it would be sent to me in the next 14 days, I never received it, luckily I have friends in Bristol so I was up there and popped in and saw the guy who I always speak to on the phone every time, not only had you not even ATTEMPTED to post me the Service book, It wasn’t even filled in, to which the guy above left the premises to go across the road to get it filled in which I knew from there it was a bit dodgy. - I should have never purchased the car, but as I know a mechanic he has done the work to the car you NEVER did I.E CAMBELT change, WINDOW electrics & crack in passenger side wing mirror. The women with you don’t know if its your sister or wife was never told, all I know is that it’s a family run business, she wrote down all that was needed to be done to the car and NONE of it was done, but you did knock off money in fairness, its just an eye opener of the organisation and how its run. - No Warranty Paperwork received (investigating this through various methods) I was told if I wished to have the warranty then that’s great, but if not you would take off £100.00, as I’ve never received anything EVER from you I feel I am due a refund of this £100.00, you NEVER got back to me about this, Several attempts to contact you. - Never Returning any of my calls EVER I always speak to the same guy who doesn’t seem to know much about the trade which is fair enough, he always takes my number down and says he will pass it to you and I never get a call back, I’ve also sent several e-mails to the AUTOSHINE website, which I have left my e-mail on, with no response via e-mail or phone. - You never sent me the LOG BOOK; I have tried to get this resolved with you for the past few months, once again speaking to the same guy giving him the number plate & my contact number. I’ve now had to pay £25.00 to get a new one, when it was you who never sent it off. It’s still under Trade with the DVLA. I have recently attempted to go on company reviews web sites just to state the above really; I just don’t understand what the problem with you is really. Granted I may just be one of the unlucky one’s but its been the most unprofessional turn of events, I know car dealerships and car sales is in itself part and parcel of a BIT DODGY on times but this I feel is pathetic.
