I bought a used v70 d5 (3 years old), before picking it up it was pointed out to me that the n/s/f wing had a paint problem and would be fixed- it was. Scroll forward 11 months and I called in to autoword ( stoneacre had now taken them over) on a saturday and was told that someone would ring me on monday- no-one rang, I rang on thursday and was promised a call back-they did not,I then emailed stoneacre to complain and a lady replied saying that action would be taken and it certainly was, a man from chesterfield rang me within the hour and apologized and said someone would ring and make sure that the matter was dealt with to my satisfaction I cannot understand by ADR ( autoworld's paintshop) needed to unplug my dash cam and put it in the glovebox, something to hide?

The very worst customer service I have ever had, full of empty promises, they promise the world and deliver nothing and don't have the courtesy to ring you back on at least three occasions when they say they will, and when they did it was to tell me they are not going to do what they said they would as it was too expensive and not even an apology, nothing was too much trouble when I was handing 22K over. The staff are rude and condescending. I have had far better service from back street dealers.
Unfortunately I can't give a 0 ! Worst dealership I have ever used in my life. Between myself and my partner we have used Autoworld for over 10 years there lack of customer service is beyond me. Staff are unhelpful rude and speak over you yet if you go to speak and they want to speak they tell you that they aren't dealing with you, surely it works both ways. The service manager should not be allowed to speak to customers he changes his story to suit and then backtracks and accuses you of shouting and being irate because you've caught him out. They lie and try to make up work on their FREE VHC, I was sent mine via text with a video and report, where I was told that ALL under bonnet levels were correct yet in the report my oil level is low and needed a £15.00 top up. This is what I spoke to the service manager about where he kept changing his story to suit and he also quoted me two different prices making it cheaper each time to try and get me to pay for it despite my oil level being perfectly normal I have even checked this on returning home myself. I would recommend that everyone stays away from this dealer unless you like rudeness and un-helpfulness. The only positive I have is Emma on Citroen reception she is lovely unlike the other people I have dealt with at this dealership I will not be returning and I recommend you don't go there either.

What a rude and unhelpful dealer. I went in to look for a 4 x 4 and was dismissed by some patronising scottish bloke before i sat down. I asked about 2 vehicles and was told that one was already sold and the other wasn't in stock (even though there were 2 on the forecourt). How this person has ever sold a car astounds me!
Autoworld Chesterfield is the complete car centre. Not only do they have both new and used cars for sale within their showroom but they also have commercial vans and vehicles in stock too. If that wasn't enough their on site services include Motability and a fully equipped MOT centre.
