Absolute shambles AWB, purchased a car which had a 6000 pound price tag, after agreement to buy they stated the car had not been checked over yet but it will go through the garage and any issues fixed, ALL LIES, within a 9 month period of having the car it had been back into their garage a total of 15 times! This includes issues for seat belts, door handles not working, our bumper randomly fell off after they had taken it of to repair a led light, the battery died after 2 months which we had to pay to replace, they then drained our battery 6 months later, they broke our windscreen and tried to lie about it and said that the glass in the car was from a mechanics gloves, the car always sounded the same from the first day we got it, turns out the track rod ends were extremely worn, suspension was ruined and the car was a major danger! All confirmed by another garage that this couldn’t of happened over the period we had it, with this being said the car had been into awb 13 times prior and they said it was perfect, nothing wrong, either the mechanics aren’t exactly mechanics or they just don’t care about what their customers drive around in considering we have 3 kids and stressed at them we needed a safe car from the beginning, the mechanics were so rude I assume because we kept having to bring the car back, wouldn’t of had to if the car was safe to drive in the first place, which multiple garages confirmed it was not! We had a courtesy car which wasn’t any better! The wipers would set of going over bumps, car would slide round corners, and it sounded horrible, the only good part I can take from all of this was when we was looking for the car on the website, after that we was just lied to and treated with a lack of respect, I got told I was being rude for explaining all the faults and explaining how fed up I was of bringing the car in, which you would be after the 3rd time of going back in 9 months never mind 15, especially when they never actually fix the issue, can’t go through motor ombudsman as they don’t allow it, they never provide any paper work for work done on the car even though they say they will, I assume this is because they never did anything! this car caused so much stress, anxiety and depression for my partner, at one point they refused to speak to myself as I was not the owner of the car but my partner couldn’t deal with it anymore and they would just fob her of because she felt like she couldn’t speak to them. I have to say the owner is a great talker, he told us everything would be fine the first time we went in and no matter what they would be there to help, but then after we got the car it was not his problem, it was down to the garage to fix, didn’t want to know us, even though he was the one who said he wouldn’t allow us to drive a dangerous car or one that had any issues because it looks bad on him, yet he really didn’t care. Anyway something positive has come from this, we went to the carshop (carpeople) who were more than helpful they shown us everything with the car, explained how they had fixed any previous issues the cost and reassured us how if anything breaks no matter how many times they will fix it because they won’t allow their customers to drive around in an unsafe car, they gave us a great price and couldn’t of been more helpful! Save yourself the hassle, take a 5 minute drive away from AWB to carpeople for the best service!

Please avoid, purchased a Fiat 500 Abarth and been nothing but trouble. Firstly service light came on within approx 5 months of its last service by them, only to be told technician probably forgot to reset service indicator??? Ended up with major service inclusive of cam belt change, then the advisories on the service were quite extensive, including a wheel hub with stripped threads and the main retaining nut fitted and damaged with a chisel. Unable to add pics but damage can be seen on Italia Tec ltd Facebook it’s the red Abarth Mwg 175 Did speak to garage on various occasions but very unhelpful as would have preferred to have sorted amicably. Please be careful as this in my opinion could of led to a catastrophic failure.

Recently purchased a car from here,a bit nerve wracking buying a used car in lockdown as you can't see it first but the service was excellent throughout and can recommend with confidence. Very friendly staff nothing was to much trouble and we now have a great little car. Don't hesitate

Better shut him down, especially Denton. Very very bad experience. Be careful.I wasted my time with them.The whole time I was waiting for my car (i never received it)it was explained to me how everything was fine. And now, because I canceled the contract, they told me that they would not return my deposit.Of course, I contacted the relevant services and my deposit will be refunded.I want to warn you to be very careful. Friendly enough until something goes wrong. Almost immediately after leaving the forecourts grading from rear diff. Fixed quickly enough. Would recommend independent mot as many advisories missed and was essentially scrap 8 months later. Spend money elsewhere.
Recently bought a Nissan Qashqai Plus 2, and have now had a chance to test over the course of a week. The Negatives... While I was told car had been inspected little niggles are present,. Door seal gromit missing and broken so rubber seal flaps out of place when door opened would have been a cheap £5.00 fix which I will have to carryout. More concerning is the fact that on first night drive out couldn't see with dipped lights, have since realised one dipped headlight not working again a simple thing to spot if car had been inspected. Again cost I will have to fix. With little things wrong I do worry about bigger things to come. Service was great and car was delivered over 100 miles away. Provided nothing else wrong am above fairly happy. Just let down with small things

The service from AWB in Dukinfield was excellent, and far above what I've received from other car dealerships in the past. They were quick to answer the questions I had, and explained the entire sales process. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a used car! The only downside for me was the 1 hour drive to get to them!
Recently bought a car from AWB Motor Company and had a very pleasant and trouble free experience. I have had some ne ore to issues with the vehicle but they have all been sorted straight away. Nothing is to big a problem and I would definitely buy another car from this garage

Unfortunately I have had to revise my review score from 5 to 1 star based on a multitude of issues that were never sorted within the 6 month warranty period ( which incidentally only covers vehicles up to 70k miles and was therefore useless on my vehicle which stood at 75k miles on the day of purchase). During my first 6 months of ownership the vehicle spent over 2 months at AWB having issues supposedly resolved but in actual fact masked. I returned the vehicle for several issues including an oil leak (resolved on the second attempt), failed rear bearing (reaolved), electrical gremlins including non-functioning air conditioning ( never resolved and now quoted £400 by BMW to resolve), creaking suspension ( I resolved myself having returned the car 4 times with no success - cost incurred to me £700 including parts, labour and setup), faulty alternator which I was told wasn't covered under warranty ( cost to me £400 for a service exchange unit which I installed to avoid labour charges), 4 wheel alignment which had supposedly been done 2 months ago ( completely seized on the cam at pins and arms rusted through - cost to me £480 parts and £150 alignment fees). Others areas for concern were the vehicle having four mixed tyres, I should have checked but when the guy tells you its had new tyres and you turn up to view in the dark i stupidly took his word for it, the extended warranty which I paid £150 for and was never extended (Still waiting for refund), penetrating oil applied to worn bushes to prevent the creaking suspension previously mentioned......the list goes on. I would be happy to share my Google timeline and WhatsApp communication between AWB and I if anybody would like clarification on my comments above.
