The service leading up to the purchase of my car was OK. Typical sales approach led me to walk away but then they came back with a sensible deal. However, after the sale it was a different story. They were totally uninterested. I had a fault a couple of days after the purchase, thank goodness I had the warranty and could deal with it myself. I wouldn't recommend Beck Evans.
Avoid Avoid Avoid! If you are asian, eastern European, or any other colour or race other then White do not expect to get 5* treatment like others do. We Went to buy New Mercedes E class and was mislead by 'Andrew Cooper' about logbook being present and filled out a V62 form which is still not here (2months on) as he said it will take 7 to 9 working days. Furthermore, 'Emma' provided us with barely readable documents which when asked to be reprinted her response was 'The printers out of Ink'today. We part exchanged our car (Mercedes E class 2012) and gave full paperworks with x2 keys. These money grabbing scums lied saying we will get the 2nd key within a month and now Andrew does not recall this? Now 2months on, we tried calling the sales manager 'Neil' only to be passed around going in circles with false promises. If we were told the truth on 24th July when we viewed the New car that the Logbook, keys are an issues and road tax was not as advertised and would actually be 2 times the amount.. We would have not gone ahead with this headache of a mistake. Take my advise, Avoid these lot and look for a proper respectable company who actually cares for Customers rather then the minority.

I feel your pain I'm currently in the process of taking them to court if we do I would appreciate any help to fuel the fire against these cowboys. Lied chat and Rob call them self a family business more like a crooks business
Went to view a E Class Coupe for my brother. Car was a nice car agreed the sale and a finance application had been put through. Waiting for confirmation of the finance, and get a call saying the car is now sold to someone else as deposit has been placed. Followed shortly by a call saying my finance has been approved. Salesman Shaun/Sean did not once ask for a deposit and made it come across to us that the vehicle has been sold to us subject to finance being approved. Even if the finance was not approved I would have funded the money one way or another which was discussed too. Now my brother is left with a mark on his credit score which will affect the finance on other cars he looks at and a wasted 3 hour round trip journey. Money grabbers. Very poor customer service.
Bought my first car from Beck Evans and took all the joy out of the experience. Told me if I didn’t put down a £500 deposit they’d probably sell the car, I was paying a lot of money in cash but whatever, I thought if it goes then it wasn’t meant to be. The battery hadn’t been tested or it had and they were hoping it would last but before I’d even got the car home the battery died completely meaning I was stuck in the freezing cold (January time) waiting for a engineer to come out to give me a jump start to get it home (I wasn’t reimbursed for this). Then took them 4 days to come out and replace the battery telling me ‘it was fine when I bought it’, as if. Then I had an issue with the radio cutting out randomly to which I was told that they couldn’t fix if I couldn’t bring it in when it was happening which was impossible as I work full time and the issue was random, I couldn’t pin point it or even take a good guess. This issue still isn’t resolved as I gave up taking the car back. I rely on my car as a lot of people do to get to work Overall horrible experience. Do not recommend.
I bought a car for £35,000 from Beck Evans, booked it in next day for a health check at the main dealer, they told me it has had a front end collision and the warranty is void!. Derek Rayner is the company secretary he only communicates via email, and will avoid resolving the issue and thinks he is a lawyer!. I have been in the motor trade for 30 years and they have had me over!

Despite the fact that you are a professional motor trader, Beck Evans 2000 Limited has attempted to assist you by offering to meet the cost of re-gassing the vehicle’s aircon system. As a reviewer you continue to misrepresent the status of the manufacturer’s warranty, a warranty that remains in place as clearly confirmed by the official Mercedes-Benz dealership who you have engaged with. Furthermore you now attempt to unjustly damage this company reputation by appearing to be a consumer rather than being part of Dapper Trading Limited that as a professional motor trading company was given every opportunity to assess the vehicle before making its purchase decision.

The cost to repair the issues with car is £594.96 you offered £160.00!! YOU CAN STICK THE £160.00 UP YOUR DIRTY CONNING YOU KNOW WHAT!!!. **AVOID BECK EVANS THEY ARE LIARS AND CROCKS!!** I Bought a 2017 LR Discovery HSE Lux and upon collection of the vehicle on 3rd December 2018 the car has problems!! Battery was flat!! ALL the braking/suspension/entertainment system not working, trim also hanging off the car, the steering vibrated at 70mph. Service manager sent me away for 2 hours and said it just needed a "Reset and a Good drive" However since taking the car it has BROKEN DOWN 3 times, half the electric don't work and drives badly. Also as part of the deal I was promised black wheel nuts and black LR centre caps that NEVER came!! I HAVE ANOTHER 10+ FAULTS WITH THIS CAR!!! I have MADE numerous calls, sent emails and videos demonstrating the problems but I get NO RESPONSE!! A man by the name of DEREK RAYNER or NEIL RELPH contact me. I WILL BE RETURN THIS CAR OR TAKING THEM TO COURT!!! **STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A COWBOY OUTFIT EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE A FLASH WEBSITE!!!**

Dear Mr Kent, We’re sorry that you’ve experienced some issues with your Land Rover, issues that you well know can be remedied under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, a position that you originally accepted. Furthermore, when you then appeared to exercise a right to reject the vehicle, we made it clear that our company secretary would be in touch with you, although given the Christmas and New Year breaks such contact was somewhat delayed. However our company secretary made contact with you last Tuesday and invited you to return with the vehicle in order that you could demonstrate each of the faults you say exist; this being a requirement when a consumer exercises such right of rejection, although I know first-hand that you initially approached us as someone intimately associated to the motor trade. Regarding the supply of the additional wheel nuts and caps that were undergoing a colour change to black and which are now in our possession, you were well aware that such refinishing takes time, especially over the Christmas period. Your allegation that describes us as "crocks" sic. (I presume you mean "crooks") is entirely unjustified, not least because we make customer care the heart of everything that we do, as can be seen by some 2,000 5-star reviews The Team at Beck Evans.

I travelled from yorkshire to buy a nissan navara it had very front end repair on the bumper and side beck evans arnt bothered they just readvertised it when i said i didnt want it stay well clear of them i left review on they website but guess what theve removed it wide boys !!
I had a really nice experience buying my Ford Kuga from Beck Evans. The dealers are really nice people and they sell some very nice cars. I have had no issues with this one at all and it was a really good price.
Thrilled with the Car! Is absolutely great and he dealers were so helpful, anything I asked to be rectified about the car they did it with no hesitation and and they are very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. I would absolutely recommend them. I bought a Mercedes back in June and since then I have not had a single issue.
Very good experience, I would recommend Beck Evans. I bought an Audi A3 from them in June and up to now I have had no issues at all. The car was clean and as described and very good value for money. The dealers were very knowledgeable and happy to help in any way.
No major issues. I bought an Audi A1 back in June. The car was in good condition but had a few wax marks on the outside. The car was good value for money and I have had no issues with it. My only issue is that I had to wait around for a while to view the car. Overall I am very pleased with the car and I would recommend the dealership.
