Absolute nightmare from start to finish. Purchased an Audi A3 2011 from them 3rd January, was told over the phone that the car was in good condition and I was reassured multiple times after multiple phone calls that the car was in good cosmetic and working order. The car was then delivered to me a few days later. The delivery driver wanted me to drop him off at the train station which I found absolutely absurd. After receiving a car which was advertised with service history and being told the car had a recent service carried out before delivery, the car had no service book or receipts. False advertising. After multiple phone calls enquiring about the whereabouts of the service book, on the 3rd or 4th phone call I was then told the service book was digital, which seemed like a last ditch effort for me to forget about the service book completely. This was a downright lie from the dealer (which I'm sure he was aware of), after doing some research Audi did not introduce digital service books until 2014, 3 years after the car was made. Also, there was damage on the drivers seat, the windscreen wipers would randomly wipe on their own, the sill had a huge gash/dent, cigarette lighter did not work, missing the jack, and locking wheel nut. All of these issue were nowhere to be seen on the Auto trader ad. After spotting all of these problems with the car and multiple phone calls of them attempting to disregard the problems I was explaining, I was then told, “you need to realize it's a 2nd hand car.” Which wasn't the attitude I received when buying the vehicle. After a back and forth of which I received terrible customer service an agreement was made where the dealership then offered to accept a return for the vehicle. Due to their poor advertising and lies I purchased a car which description was inaccurate. They then expected me to travel from Sunderland to Hull (140 miles) to drop a car off. The car was returned on 10th January. I was told 10 working days for my refund of £2500 to be back into my bank account. It is now 30th January and they have still yet to refund my deposit. The car had been relisted on Auto trader, meanwhile I had an outstanding finance agreement on the car. I had to get the finance company involved who have been a massive help as opposed to these incompetent bunch. So anyone who purchases the Audi A3 EK61 WJO. Be aware of all the problems I have mentioned above and it also still has an outstanding finance agreement on this car as I'm writing this. May be worth mentioning that each phone call I had with this dealership I was promised a phone call back. On no occasion did they attempt to reach out to me after being promised a phone call returned. UPDATE, it is now 1st February, 22 days since I returned the vehicle. I have had to go through the finance companies complaints department to get any sort of resolution out of this. The finance got in touch with the dealership, and the gentleman's response on the phone was, “we haven't got round to issuing the refund yet”. Although, they have had time to relist the car and sell the car since I returned it. I've also noticed the sarcastic comments and remarks to your other customers on your reviews. I urge you not to even try that with me as I have evidence for everything to back up my claim.
