I WOULD AVOID BIG MOTORING WORLD. I have been back and forth regarding the various items (see below) and to top of off I have not had a response regarding my email (see below) that I sent this morning! I will be returning my car (that’s if it is my car) tomorrow! EMAIL Good morning, Further to various emails and telephone calls I have attached the invoices below that are due to be paid by you. First one is for: The car key (as I was not provided with a spare) this is in the sum of £233.74 + VAT There is also an added item of the wipers at a cost of £27.84 +VAT Total to be paid on this invoice is £261.58 + VAT The second invoice is for the car tyres. When we viewed this car we queried the tyres on the vehicle and the sales person Matthew assured us that the tyres where 4m as he had them checked for us and that your policy was that you do not send out cars under 3m. I have had the car looked at by Nissan and they flagged up 2no. tyres, one was 2m and the other 2.5m. I called your office yesterday and was put through to Ben the manager at the West Malling Branch and told him everything regarding the tyres and he had a cheek to say to me I should have measured them myself. I do not expect to measure tyres on a vehicle that I have paid over £13k for and was assured by the Matthew that they had been checked when we flagged them up that they was 4m. This is in the sum of £173.59 inclusive of VAT. Also please see the health check for the tyres. I do not understand why 2no. tyres are 2 and 2.5 and the other 2no. tyres are 6? This makes me believe that the original tyres had been taken off and put on another car and replaced with ones with less tread. When we bought this car we were assured that everything was checked over and in working order. The window wipers should have been changed as this was flagged up red when checked by Nissan. When you "checked the car" as a car with only 16707 mileage on the car should be in top shape. In regards to the lock wheel nut (as per previous emails) this has had to be ordered in and you will be receiving the invoice in due course. I am extremely disappointed in this "reputable company" and I have decided to take this matter further with all my evidence and report you to the Motoring Ombusman, Trading Standards and whatever other means I deem necessary. The only good thing I have to say about your company is that Jaz was friendly and helpful when we arrived to pick up the car and was told you had no log book but this wasn't a problem as all we had to do was go to the post office to tax the car and we could drive it off... This was not the case and a few hours later Jaz managed to "go through a back door way" and tax the car for us... Which by the way I still have not received my log book or confirmation that I am in fact the legal owner of this vehicle. Jaz was also helpful in sorting out the spare key situation... I was advised I would receive it special delivery in 5 days after buying the car by your Snodland branch. This did not happen and I called Jaz and he said that would never have been the case as I needed to take it to Nissan and get one cut and they would refund me the money. Also when we went to Snodland branch to pick up the key and paper work we had to wait over an hour as they could not find it and AGAIN I had to call Jaz and he managed to sort this out. ANOTHER time Jaz helped was when I was looking for the locking wheel nut (Nissan advised me to look for this before I arrived for the service) I could not find this in the car and Jaz said he would pay for a new one and if they could not order one he would pay for them to break them off. When I emailed Sofia at the Snodland branch she advised me that the locking wheel nut should be there and sent me a "picture of "my" car" with the locking wheel nut inside (see attached). I emailed Sofia a picture of my car with no locking wheel nut and completely different to the picture that was sent to me. I had to call the West Malling branch as Sofia didn't believe me (why I would go to so much trouble to get a locking wheel nut if I had one already is beyond me), UNFORTUNATELY Jaz was not in the office and I have to deal with Ben, after explaining everything confirmed he would pay for it (Jaz already confirmed it) few more emails back and forth to the Snodland branch was finally confirmed by email. THEN I get the health report back by Nissan and the tyres are flagged (see earlier in email) and I call and speak to Ben and he said its our company policy not to send tyres out under 3 and the legal requirement 1.6. That is all well and good but the tyres where under 3 (2 and 2.5) and that your company actually broke your company policy and LIED about the tyres. This is completely unacceptable. I have children in this car and if anything would of happened whilst driving to the tyres with my children in this car is not worth thinking about and this is unacceptable. Then Ben had to check to say I should have measured the tyres... This is unacceptable and does every customer who comes to you have to bring their own measures devices to check the tyres? Ben then said to my partner to send the tyre measurement and IF they had them in stock he would change them: 1: I was not risking driving this car all the way to West Malling (would of been the third visit to this place and many more hours wasted here) with tyres that are 2, 2.5 and 2no. 6s. 2. These tyres should have been replaced when we flagged it up. Also there is the case of being sold warranty when I did not need it as my car is under 3 years old and comes with manufacture warranty for 3 years. I only found this out when I called Nissan. I called your company and explained I did not need this and was told it was ok as I was still within my "14 days period" and they issued me a refund. This is something that your sales team should know!! How many other people have been miss sold warranty?? All in all I have had a very bad experience with this company and I will be reporting you and letting others know to be careful and give them a lift of things to check. I await my payment ASAP. regards Claire

Big Motoring World do not care about after sales. Your warranty is not worth the paper it is written out. Report to trading standards and citizens advice - these guys are crooks.

Purchased a vehicle from Big Motoring World about a month ago. I also purchased a Warranty from them. The Warranty turns out to be with Warranty 2000. Vehicle was a surprise present for my Daughters 18th. First day that my Daughter drove it, the engine management light came on. Three local garages would not look at the car under the warantee. Was advised to go to Halfords where they have a National contract. Two visits to Halfords later, they diagnosed that it needed to go to a main dealer. Main dealer diagnosed that it needs a new catalytic convertor. Cost £1250. Car has been in garage for a week while they negotiate with Big Motoring World about who - if either - of them will authorise the work to be done. What do Big Motoring World have to say about this? Don't know. Still waiting for them to get back to me! Conslusion: £7500 out of pocket. Owned the car for a month. Been able to Drive the car three times. All of them to a garage! Car been at Main dealers for a full week. No answer yet about whether its going to be fixed.

Bought two cars from Big Motoring World in 5 years. First one I thought was a dud, so benefit of doubt bought another a few months back. WELL this one has just had a serious diesel leak. Nearly causing an accident. Believe it or not the same as the first car I had from these!!! But that's okay, took out 3 years extended warranty with them to cover "ALL" repairs. "WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY DON'T BOTHER", car is in a garage (BMW MAIN DEALER). They called me today, fuel line ruptured (BMW MAIN DEALER WORDS "Unusual for age and mileage of vehicle"). They contacted warranty company, the BMW repair bill is £450 including investigation, parts and repair. WARRANTY COMPANY Response.. 1) We dont pay diagnostic. 2) We will replace the part broken (but from another source) which BMW will not fit as they have to guarantee the work. So warranty company will only pay amount they can get the part for NOT what it cost. 3) They will NOT pay for the other parts damaged by the broken part as they only pay out for the broken part. 4) They will ONLY Pay max £75 labour (which I knew and didnt have a problem with) but as I have a £75 excess they WONT pay for the labor. SO. £450 damage. Warranty only covers £100.. So for the £1500 I payed for extended warranty was a complete waste of money. Before BIGMOTORING world comment (if they bother). I would have taken the car to you but your service center were to call me back to see if they could fit it in and after 7 hours of my car spilling diesel over my drive it was taken by recovery to the BMW as I still had not heard from you. To prove this is a genuine review my first var reg was NX05UKM.

If you like being lied to and fleeced by salesmen in cheap suits, Big Motoring World in West Malling is the place for you. Bought a car on the understanding the faults were being remedied whilst we spoke. First lie. The whole set up is cleverly arranged to milk you and get you off the premises asap... over to the support centre five miles away to collect your paperwork. They clearly dont want angry after sales people in the presence of new, naive potential purchasers,,, Bad, bad, bad...

Went to Big Motoring World on the A20 West Malling it was like a cattle market inside. We had seen a car online so went to look at it, once out in the huge forecourt the car I noticed had almost bald tyres so looked at the one next door it was scratched along the doors and the radio surround was very tarnished the salesman said there all like that with those Vauxhall Mokkas so we had a look at the fords one looked like the owner kept dogs and one had a nicotine stained interior then as we were about to give up we saw a Ford for £5600 with only 18,000 miles on the clock but it was wrongly priced and ended up at £8400 then the manager said he would do a discount and did all the insurance and protection and it came in at £10400 so nearly doubled its a scam and most cars there need £2000 worth of servicing so don't buy from here please You have been warned they are cheap because only the mininum is done to sell them!

Avoid! Don't buy any car from Big Motoring World West Malling. Very bad expierence. My loss over £2000. I bought Volkswagen Golf 2016. Next day I found front rear bumper, mirrors and front wing passenger side repainted. The colour of painted car body parts is darker and does not much the rest of the car.Big Motoring World refused a refund. Big Motoring World responded: Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email and the attached photographs. Unfortunately we would not look to offer a refund on the vehicle, all vehicles we sell are HPI clear and free from any insurance loss. All vehicles are thoroughly checked and are structurally safe for road use within the UK. Unless provided by the previous owner we would be unaware of any cosmetic work that may of been previously carried out the vehicle. I have attached the HPI for your reference. Kind Regards Katie Rial Customer Support Advisor
