I agreed to buy a new car at the price shown in the auto trader. The figures were acceptable and I paid a deposit of £500 (which I am still waiting for to be returned). A phone call the following day from Mark the salesman saying they got the figures wrong and I would have to find significantly more. I refused so the deal was pulled from me. How crass is that. He did remind me however, if I found the extra, it would be a good thing since the prices were soon to go up. My word is my bond (except for Blackpool Honda). Poor.
