I bought a car from BMS car sales on 7th June, after the car was MOT’d on the 5th June and passed with no advisories. Some damage on car which was not disclosed but put it down to buying a car unseen. Back brakes started grinding on the 9th June - metal on metal and below legal limit. Billy contacted and offered to pay for replacement parts that we ‘could fit ourselves’ without asking about any mechanical know how, and no apology for selling a car with a fraudulent MOT. After back-and-forth Billly transferred money for a mechanic to fit the brake parts (refused to organise himself then complained my quote was expensive) Total for parts and labour was £338.00. Formal complaint in writing with no formal response. Admitted he never checked the brakes, and that the ‘full service’ advertised was in fact just an oil/filter change. Fast forward 3 weeks, engine management and low oil pressure light. AA and an independent mechanic advised to return the car. Called Billy on Monday, who said he would arrange a driver after I had removed private plate. 3 days later plate removed and logbook back, requested the car was collected. Billy said he would arrange. Spoke to finance company who then said Billy was refusing to collect the vehicle despite being legally obliged to. I organised recovery myself, and my deposit was refunded within 48 hours of the car arriving back on site. Fast forward another 14 days and the finance company had still not received a refund and asked me to confirm that Billy had paid me £400 for the brakes!!! Still not sorted out and still without a car whilst the mess is sorted out. Billy is a very difficult man when things go wrong, it could have all been solved very easily, whereas now I am drafting my letter before action letter and will proceed to court.

Bought a second hand car in April 2023 stated full service had been done on the car. Had nothing but trouble. Hardly drive in a year and taken it for a test which stated full services have not been done properly and emissions are running high, also stated the car is dangerous to drive and could blow at any time. Service book says full car shows very little has been done other than oil change. I new after having a heated debate at the beginning I was being taken for a ride, but he took it back and said he had fixed it, signed the service book again but nothing had been done. If I had not a period of not driving the car due to health I’d be dead now or causing a serious accident. Never use this dealer please he just wants your money

Excellent value for money been looking for the right car for months billy found me one it was a lot better than I expected loads more extras top spec car gave me great money for pc would not go any where else for used car thanks billy yr a diamond

I am over the moon with my Lexus from BMS Car Sales. It looked brand new when i received it and up to now I have had no issues with it at all. The dealers were nice and helpful and The premises was clean and tidy. I have no complaints at all and I would recommend BMS car Sales.
