Used car not to bmw standards brakes tyres and car had scratches all down one side. I hadn’t even touched the car and got accused that I did them on delivery. Bad bad service

In 8 months car has had to go back 4 times and had 4 BMW assist call outs customer service aren’t interested please avoid thought using a main dealership would give better service I was wrong

paid 55k for a BMW took from the forecourt and the tyres were no inflated by almost 35% less that legal ignorant staff , useless hand over then found out that the vehicle want taxed and they let me drive away total disregard from H&S or duty of care

Price advertised increased to original price plus substantially with extras already in the car I had to pay for as well as delivery charge. Not explained at point of sale in full only after looking at sales invoice I was never given just asked to sign quickly, had to ask for a copy. Extra charges were huge totalling over £5000 In full I wasn’t treated fairly are looking into the change of original price advertised but not hopeful of outcome. Beware when buying new of extra charges already in vehicle you have to pay for added on. Unbelievable a car can be advertised at one price but end up increased higher due to these charges for interiors and package.

Spent 27k on a 4 series on the day of handover I was just handed the keys with no one to check over the car just pointed to the car and said any problems give us a call. A few weeks later when I first cleaned the car I noticed some white marks on the passenger seat but they won’t and have refused to do anything about it. Stay well clear. COVID or not I should have had a proper hand over and had the car looked over by the salesman PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE DONT GO HERE

Just picked up my BMW X2 and could not recommend Lex more. The most open friendly salesman we have dealt with over the past month searching for a new car. I must say this was quite possibly the worst buying experience I’ve ever had in all honesty. I pre paid for the car in full before attending to make life easier and show my commitment on what your sales person had told me and the way the car was described, I was confident there would be no issues whatsoever. I had been very clear from day 1 what my expectations of the car was as I do not usually entertain distance buying like this (I am based in Essex). I travelled 1 way by train to purchase the car and on inspection not only was the car not prepared correctly there were stone chips present (many on the near side bonnet and a single one on the rear quarter) and there has been damage to the front bumper which has been repaired very poorly. I asked for a full list of works that had been carried out on the car and was told that in its short lifetime it had 2 rear wheels replaced and the windscreen, I questioned whether it had ever had any bodywork and was told no. I was also shown a video presentation of the car and it clearly states that there are no stone chips!! I have also noticed a small amount of damage to the leather on the back of both driver seats. I can conclude we were made to feel very uncomfortable and completely mislead by the dealer and blatantly lied to. This dealership cannot be trusted unfortunately. The car in question was a low mileage M5 that was 8 months old, at a cost of £71k, the brand is superb, Bowker’s are very poor as is BMW customer services unfortunately.

As a dealer we are sorry the car didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately the car you purchased was not brand new and unfortunately it had a few small stone chips on the bonnet and wing as it had covered a quite few thousand miles. That being said as a gesture of goodwill we offered to pay the full cost of respraying the full front end of the car at your chosen approved bodyshop as requested by yourself. It is a shame that although you requested it and said it would resolve the issue it has still left you leaving such a poor review,
