So, I bought a used Z4 from Preston. At first I was fairly happy, the car was in great condition, but when I thought about what Bowker had actually contributed to the experience it wasn't much. The car was sold as approved used, but I was told at collection the car had the 9 months remaining warranty so wouldn't have the 12 months and MOT guarantee the approved used scheme gives. I said I was arriving at the train station but no offer of collection was made. They didn't even fit their own number plates to the car as most dealers do to advertise, perhaps they're not so proud of themselves either. Overall my experience could have been so much better, though at least I have bought a nice car.
Visited Bowker showed interest in a model. Being a Sunday, they couldn't help. Left my number with a sales rep. And no one rang me back. bought the bike elsewhere.

Well, I can only speak as I find and I have no hesitation in giving my recent BMW purchase at Bowker Preston a 5 star rating. The dealership is clean and tidy and cars well presented. Initial contact by Chris was friendly, cordial and professional, as indeed it was during contact with other members of staff and during phone calls. No pressure was ever applied and I found the follow up video of the car I was interested in helpful. And, of importance, the trade in offered for my car was above that offered by a well know car buyer. I found conducting much of the admin on line effective, in my case and the service good. The car purchased was really well presented and I am more than pleased with my purchase and the way we’ve been treated.

after my mini went in to be service, i was given a sheet saying needed new break pads and disc. £290.90. I phoned to day to book my car in to be informed i cant have a car i must stay and after all its only 90 mins you could go for a walk around. I am bring my car in after a night shift the last thing I need. I was given the price of £390. i question this a lot but she said its strange I had that price and where did i get it from. I informed her of you lot the last service 8 weeks ago, After a lot of back and forward with the price. I asked to see a manager. she inform me she was the manager, i asked her to put me in touch with her manager. after a lot of questions she told me he was very busy and it would take sometime to ring me. i have bought a lot of cars off Bowker and my family have but no more. very poor and never again. the lady in question was called Paula , The lady I was dealing with for the service said have a car for the day and the price of 290.90 , she was good. sorry down hill and never again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a new car from here over £60k the car was returned due to issues I asked for replacement car which bmw agreed to not one follow up call to see if ok nothing i would never return to buy a new car off this dealer again the service is shocking there your best friend until had your hard earned cash honestly use another dealer with decent management who address any issues if they arise and decent follow up customer service.

Spoke to Tom Murphy over the phone about a used 3 series, didn’t like his pushy attitude ... ended up buying one from another dealership
4 weeks ago I paid £100 for a diagnostic of the idrive in my vehicle and have received nothing back, except a quote for some new tyres. I have chased numerous times and have had no luck. Also raised a complaint centrally, and still nothing! Worst service I have ever received in my life!!! I will never return to Bowker BMW in Preston ever again.
Good morning, I have to say I was appalled at the treatment afforded to me especially by their service manager Dave at The Bowker BMW Preston branch. Last week I called BMW to get a price for a buff up on my car because previously this had been undertaken by their preferred repair specialist HB Panelcraft and my car was left in a mess with swirling buffer marks on my body work in numerous places mainly on the boot and bonnet. I was told BMW do this service at Bowker so rang them last week to see. I had previously requested this information but they failed to call me back with a price. To be fair they did eventually call me back and informed me that they don’t do the buff up and that they use HB Panelcraft. I told them after my last experience there I wouldn’t be taking it to them and thought that was the end of it. Anyway the day after I got a call from service lady at BMW who said to me she would book my car in at a time and date to suit me to sort all the buff marks at no charge to myself and booked my car in for the week later which was yesterday Wednesday the 20th Feb 2019. She asked me to bring the car at 8am so they could have the car all day. The night before on the 19th I was at work and the service manager Dave called me and introduced himself then started to question me on a previous review I had put about the poor quality of work by HB Panelcraft and my comments about Bowker not calling me back he asked if I would remove this review which I found a bit strange as the facts were very clear. I did amend the review after Bowker got back to me the second time offering to repair my car and thought that was that. So on the 20th I took my car down to Bowker and asked for Dave the service manager who took me in a office. I told him I had amended the review but he was not happy and asked me to remove it totally which I did. He then asked a few questions about my car where I got it from etc. I told him I’m in a service plan with Arnold Clark who have been brilliant with me and my car. He asked me to wait till HB Panelcraft guy called Mark arrived to pick my car up. On arriving I was introduced to mark who was fine with me. Then suddenly Dave says to me we are only going to buff your bonnet and boot lid and we can’t do it today you will have to book the car in. I informed Dave my car was already booked in for today. I have the proof by an email sent by Bowker the previous days before. He was very adamant that the repair wasn’t booked in and they wouldn’t be carrying out the repair today. I was so annoyed that I’ve had to leave it till today so I’ve got a clear mind to write this review as accurately as I can. This is a main dealership treating the customer like crap pardon my words here. After all it was them calling me offering to repair my car at no cost. I will not be setting foot in that dealership ever again I think a possible mistake was telling Dave I have my services done by Arnold Clark and also bought my car from them. The other aggravating thing was I had booked my car in on one of my few days off from my work at Bae systems so will have to sort out another day with another repair specialist.
