Following a visit to Brindley Volvo Wolverhampton, I was assisted /guided by Sales Executive James Palmer around a selection of used Volvo V40s. James proved to be very knowledgeable and patient when answering my queries concerning the cars on display. After selecting to test drive 2018 V40, I decided to purchase the car, and after a successful negotiation, we arrived at a purchase price that I was happy with. The subsequent handover was completed on the 10/01/2020. Never at any time was there pressure or 'hard sell' from James, which can prove very intimidating. Thank you to James and all at Brindley Volvo.
Great service and no pressure attitude towards selling a car
Couldn't fault them
From start to finish the process at Brindley Volvo Wolverhampton was seamless. Well recommend this dealer. Coffee was excellent too.
From the time we entered the forecourt at Brindley Volvo Wolverhampton, looking for a car that we had seen on the web. We got help from James. It just got better and we ended up buying another car. Could not fault the service. This was just after very poor treatment at the hands of another main dealer , thus it was also even more welcome. I would not hesitate to say they were good.
Having been called by Brindley Volvo for a safety recall on my XC90 T8 I attended my appointment today to be told that the parts had not arrived. This is bad enough, but to offer no apology and insist that they did not have any contact details for me to let me know, which was somehow my fault. Apparently needing blonde seatbelts which caused the back order with Volvo was also my fault. Incompetent staff and apparently a management team who think the customer is always wrong.
I feel the manager was good during my experience. I had troubles with road tax which found out my new car had not been road taxed and Andy was fixing it and pay my fine. But when I spoke to new manager he was not interested in my complaint. Basically he was not caring about problem either. Ask him to remove me off their database. Regards, Stewart.
Had a problem with my air conditioning only blowing cold air in my xc60. Took it in to Brindleys and was quoted £198.00 to fix the problem which had been caused by a water leak from the windscreen leaking into the electrics .Wife went into collect the car and I received a phone call to say that unfortunately the work undertaken hadn't fixed the problem and -here is the insulting part, I would still be charged for the work. At no point was I told prior to this that I would still be charged if the job was unsuccessful. The car was returned to have the windscreen resealed and dried out and I pointed out to Gary the service manager that if the air conditioning wasn't fixed when I collected the car that I wouldn't be prepared to pay. Collected the car and was told everything had been fixed and the air con was now blowing warm-a 20 minute drive home told me this wasn't the case and as we were away for the weekend I left calling the garage until the Monday to let them know the air con was still not working. No apologies, just a 'we'll have to do further (chargeable) investigation'. I sincerely doubt the air con was ever working properly and I can only conclude that not only is their service department incompetent but deceitful and obdurate as well. I'm not quite sure how they get away with it and more to the point, how they stay in business.
I recently bought a Pergeot from this dealership and had a very mixed experience. I dealt with Karen originally and she was brilliant but when she went away I was passed on to a guy called Andy who wasn't very helpful and at times was rude. The problem was when I realised the cars wing mirror wasn't working and they didnt really know how to go about fixing it. I was messed around for 4 days and eventually was passed on to Pergeot who resolved it in a couple of days. As a dealership they were good on the whole but were not great as I was buying a car that isn't a Volvo! If you want a Volvo then come here, anything else and I'd look somewhere else!
