Britannia Car Sales in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, England sold us a car in January 2024 that they stated was ready for collection, as all prep work had been completed. This was NOT the case sadly! The vehicle was full of dog hairs, cigarette ends and dirty inside. It had not been cleaned well, if at all. Driving over 50mph caused the car to shake and vibrate badly, the radio/cd player display faded and disappeared. All of which was reported to the garage as soon as it was discovered, and it took them 6 weeks to reimburse the cost of repairs arranged to fix the shaking/vibrating which was caused by damage to the suspension and was advised it was dangerous to drive, they did not reimburse the cost to repair the audio system however! Our money was NOT defected, so why was the car?, why weren't the faults mentioned in the online advertisement? Be careful if using this garage yourself, we regret it!

Purchased a vehicle from the dealership online through a third party finance company. Travelled 87 miles to view and pick up the car today. The car was supposed to have had a clean MOT 8 days ago. Upon arrival checked car over, car was found to have worn brake pads, discs worn to the point there was a lip on the disks the width of a penny, perished wiper blades, all of which should have been picked up on an MOT which haven't. I'm not blaming the dealership as its down to MOT tester. But Keith became quite abrupt when told we wouldn't be taking the vehicle. And tried to say how would I know what should pass on an MOT. So the real question is does he know what his MOT tester is doing or is he unaware, either way he needs to find a better MOT tester, DVSA has been informed of this particular vehicle and the MOT test. Avoid this place altogether! I purchased a 2008 mercedes for £3500 and an autotrader is says high price. regardless, I still paid and had nothing but endless problems with the car! every week it went in to garage continuously for 3 months. wishbourne armbreak pipe leak (still passed mot??) ball joint twice! wheel bearing Air con leak as it does not work. I am having to force sell this car to an auction site as I dont want anyone to face the same problems as me. I took it in to their own garage as they said they will fix the noise and investigate what it is. £260 I was charged from Britannia and the car is exactly the same! when I called in they said it was to fix another noise. not the noise I complained about. All in all this car has costed me five grand in total and I spoke to the guy who own this place. He said the most he can offer me is £1200 because of the 25000 miles I have done! so five grand it has costed me and he can only give me £1200 back!

Bought a Peugeot 207. Chris bent over backwards to make the purchase as easy as possible. The day after I got a flat tyre which I deem as a unlucky coincidence. I called Britannia car sales for help and they came for my car sorted out the flat and brought it to my work so I could drive it home. It does not get any better than that. The whole team work really hard to provide excellent cars and even better customer service. I'll be recommending to all my friends and family.
