Bought a Ford Fusion from Brook Car Sales. Car was knocking badly from the front despite having a new MOT, and the promised (and stamped) service hadn't been done. I carried out my own service although in fairness they did pay for the parts. They couldn't have cared less when I said I'd had to pay for a suspension top mount the day after I bought it. I live quite a way away so I took the car to my local trusted garage who wrote a full report. It is very rusty underneath, fuel pipes could fail at any time, the exhaust is blowing from the front and the rear silencer was held on with a jubilee clip! And despite repeated requests, Brook still haven't sent me a receipt for the alleged cambelt change. Wish I'd never changed my old car for this ratty thing.

My wife purchased a car from Brook Car Sales, I was a really nice car, they gave it a service and a new MOT and I was really happy. We did however have a problem with the battery, there was no problems, phoned them, took the car in and fitted one right in front of me, great service
Worst Car sales experience I’ve ever had. bought a car from them in good faith that turned out to be a complete lemon. the car had a fault code when sold with it. the dealer explained it would clear with the replacement of a fuse. got the car back to then find it wasn’t near empty on fuel like I was told but the fuel gauge was broken. as was the reverse sensors and the central locking. a week later the car died. turned out to be a dead battery. this fixed most of the electrical issues. but when I spoke to them they wanted nothing to do with it. about 2 weeks after that the car suffered complete electrical failure everything but the engine died. turned out the car leaks like a sieve; water ingress into the electronics. took the car back to brook car sales and was given the run around. it took 3 trips; 4 phone calls; 3 emails and the threat of legal action for them to take the car back and repair. only gave me one receipt and the car broke down 3 weeks later. they were aggressive. rude. pretended not to get emails. shut early when I was coming to visit them. don’t return calls. I got some money back but they didn’t really want to know. I’ve been left out of pocket with a crap car that’s as useful as a chocolate teapot. I have lost of trust and faith in this company I wouldn’t buy another car from them nor would I recommend anyone else doing so. also got given one of their other cars as a courtesy car. it had more problems than my own one. avoid like the plague.
