Bought a Range Rover 2012 for my daughter January 2025 with 6 months warranty which is not worth the paper it’s written on for £6500 which is a higher price but was assured warranty covered everything including turbo ? From day 1 it had a water leak and was told if it persisted to contact warranty wise which I did and was told to take care of to a approved garage for a assessment repair at a cost to me of £60 ? And found the coolant leak from egr cooler and also found oil leak from turbo Garage sent report to warranty wise who declined repair saying warranty does not cover these items. Could not get old of anyone at Brooklands just being passed from piller to post all the time eventually spoke to someone who laughed at me when I said they should repair it at no cost to me ? When I quoted consumer rights act of 2015 eventually they knew I wasn’t going away and paid for repair at there garage main agents which took 4 weeks but said the turbo wouldn’t be done ? So I am now left with a car that I can not use as it could cause even more damage with turbocharger as it is ? This is now going to cost me £1400 for a replacement turbocharger? Don’t believe a word about there warranty’s and once they have your money they are a nightmare to get hold of someone who can help you in my opinion that’s why they don’t accept credit cards only bank transfer because of the extra protection you get from a credit card
