Went to part exchange my car for a car at Burton Joyce Car Centre. In the end finance was declined due to a member of staff here messing about. Now they refuse to give me my original car back. Currently court procedures in place. Trading Standards have been advised I hope severe action is taken. Complete shambles, I have now lost £7000.

In response to this review. A false finance application was made by the customer. This customer was trying to buy the car on finance in his mothers name. By the time the deal got cancelled by the finance company we had already settled off the outstanding on the part exchange vehicle so how is it possible we just give the car back? We offered to sell the car back at the original cost price but the customer couldn't get finance (due to the false application originally made). We are now still in ownership of the car, which quite frankly we didn't want as stock. Burton Joyce Cars.
I purchased a car from this car dealer over a year ago. Although it was an expensive car, it had several problems which surfaced after I had driven it home. Burton Joyce Car Centre just didn't want to know. The warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Every time I phoned to speak to the owner I was told he was at the car auctions. I eventually had to trade the car in at a reputable dealership where I lost over £2000 on it (they knew about the problems it had). Avoid this car dealership at all costs.

In response to this review. I can't recall which vehicle it is that you're referring to but I find it very hard to believe that we did nothing about it, we have mechanics on site at all times and always carry out warranty work. Burton Joyce Cars.
Burton Joyce Car Centre is the worst car dealership that I have ever dealt with. It has been 9 weeks and still do not have the car I purchased. They have constantly let me down and I will not go back to them in the future.

In response to this review. Your Z4 needed a part that was on 8 week back order from BMW- unfortunately thats out of our hands. You had a courtesy car for the entire time and we collected your car and dropped it off when finished. Burton Joyce Cars.
Good selection of cars. Bought a 5 series from there, good condition, had a issue when braking it would shake, dealer said they would fix it, bought the car home, after a few days the problem came back, dealer said bring it back to them they would fix it, drove it back, they said they had now fixed it properly, a few weeks later same problem again, took it back, they made a few adjustments, but the problem still kept coming back, then they didn't want to know after that, they sold me a faulty car.

In response to this review. You upgraded the brakes on your BMW to M5 brakes. How can we be responsible for aftermarket parts fitted to a car? We tried our best with it but retro fitted parts are not covered under warranty. I would like to make a point that we at Burton Joyce Cars sell over 300 cars per year and do a lot of repeat business and sell a lot of cars into our local area. Sometimes vehicles do pick up problems along the way- as can anything which is pre used and has mechanical components.
