Car Sales Fareham sell cars which are not road worthy and break down in less than 30 days. we have been waiting for a refund for 6 weeks now and we’ve been offered half what we paid. Rude and horrible people. Con artists. Do not buy from here
Currently in the legal process with Car Sales Fareham due to the absolutely insane amount of illegal activity they are partaking in and refusal to comply with any kind of requests. These guys are morally bankrupt and not to be trusted. Avoid purchasing from these guys at all costs - if you need any more detail google "Paul Taylor csh1" or "Paul Taylor car fareham" - he is sometimes known as "Peter Taylor" and the various scams he has been involved in (serving prison time for stealing cars and replating them) as well as the fact he re-registers this company on a practically yearly basis under a different name. His staff are of questionable legality living on site in caravans yet never seem to be there when you finally need to speak to one (quite strange for staff living on site...) If you proceed to purchase from them after reading the reviews on here you deserve to get scammed.

We have having the same issues. Gear box problems electrically problems, and we've had fines due to our plates being used on other vehicles. They have had my car for four weeks!!!

We're in the same position, bunch of low lifes. Nikolas Brettelle and Paul Taylor/Peter Taylor or whatever he wants to call himself, is the other one I've had dealings with, it's been going on for months, going through courts, trading standards too. Feel free to contact me and I can pass on my contact at TS. They're probably looking to wind the company up, and start it up again in another families name. All I hope is Karma plays a visit real soon.

Give them a wide berth. Nothing but trouble, now in liquidation so no chance of a refund.
Purchased my car from Car Sales Fareham. Very poor after sales service. Took my car in for a small job and an employee ended up causing damage to my newly purchased car. Very hard to get hold of now to follow up with any sort of after sales service.
Bought a BMW from Car Sales Fareham that not only had lots of minor defects that i found after a few days with the car but it also had a DPF issue and a major oil leak. The dealer said the car was under warranty but used my details without my consent to take out a warranty with a third party which didn't cover any labour or the fault with the vehicle after the dealer messing me around and leading me on on for a few months the car is now undriveable and parked up. The case is now going through a claims court and trading standards.
Anonymous13 in response to look elsewhere
Hiya, can you please confirm further information regarding your BMW? I am sure they have resold this vehicle to me, which has blown up! Wish I would have seen all of these reviews before I purchased.
Currently called Car Sales Hampshire (CSH1 ltd). Really wish I'd found these reviews before I bought a Mondeo from them. Deposit paid Wednesday, told me that car would be ready for us Friday morning when I planned to pay the remainder. Purchased on the Friday, arrived to find car hadnt even had its MOT done. Had to wait til Monday to collect due to car failing on MOT - Nick the salesman tried to tell us it was nothing to worry about, a couple of small issues - however DVLA site stated 5 major defects! Finally got the call Monday afternoon that car was ready. We've had it two days and the air con doesn't work, fuel gauge doesn't work - not acceptable at all especially in the height of summer and having an hour's motorway commute to work, not good at all to run out of fuel!!! Requested refund this morning by email.
Sherrie Hobson in response to Rubbish
I was just wondering how your outcome was of requesting your refund?
Got myself a BMW of late, top class sales and motor. Cant fault it
I had the misfortune of buying a car from here a couple of years ago, when his company name was different. I could have come to serious harm as the fault was dangerous and was very obvious. Unfortunately, I didn't get the car checked before purchase. Luckily, I got my money back, but was made to sign paperwork saying I would not say anything negative on social media!!! PLEASE avoid!!!

Is this cars of Fareham?
Sadly i bought a car here in Jan 18 & have been pursuing a refund for 3 months after it broke down within first week. It seems Paul Taylor is not aware of the Law regarding being able to return a car within 30 days if its ;not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality. Its in the hands of Small claims now & Trading standards. Shame that the seller has 100% positive feedback on eBay. All from cheap market parts bought by them. Save yourself a lot of hassle & buy a car elsewhere. Wish i had !
Mr Benson in response to Biggest Mistake of my life
Currently going through the same situation with them myself, they have admitted to so much illegal activity on camera and after getting in touch with previous disgruntled employees I have discovered a treasure trove of information about them. Did you manage to get a full refund and damages? We are looking for testimonies in starting a class action lawsuit so would love to hear from you - email@example.com
Sherrie Hobson in response to Biggest Mistake of my life
Hi John I'm currently in the process of taking Paul Taylor to small claims, after requesting a refund on a vehicle I had bought from them. I was wondering how your out come was? Thanks Sherrie
If I could put no star I would. Terrible place. Faulty door handle and flat tyre both were supposed to be sorted but were not. No MOT even though the paperwork says they did one. No user manual, I asked for this when I put the deposit down and was told it was in the car. It wasn't told by the salesman Sean (who is a total plonker) 'we sell cars, not books, I don't want to spend the money to buy one, I can't be responsible for the previous owner not putting it in the car.' I'm reporting them to the AA who they very proudly advertise they are affiliated with..... Oh and they tried to tell me the car was 1000 more after I put the deposit down, that's the only reason I've given a high score for value for money because they cocked up!! Don't waste your cash.
