Terrible. terrible 'service'. My son bought a second hand car here; test drive was fine, good service history etc but the very day he bought it, the clutch stuck. The Apple CarPlay didn't work either as there was a faulty USB Port and their was an air leak when using the rear windscreen wash. He had to wait 2 WEEKS for them to be bothered to take it into their workshop. After a week when he finally went to collect, the only issue fixed was the most minor- the air leak, They sold him a car not fit to drive and not as advertised. Eventually after painful weeks of them not being contactable/wrong phone numbers or emails being given out and un-answered/ he demanded a full refund which he has now finally got. Appalling service, wouldn't trust them to sell you a decent car, nor to carry out repairs thoroughly or test drive it adequately. At no point did anyone apologise to him. Disgraceful.

What a nightmare !!! Traded in and bought a car from this lot . I have to say this was the worst car purchase I have ever made , the salesman and then so called manger were so pushy to sell me there so called extras they are worse than the worst double clazing salesman they would not take no for an answer and kept me there for 2.5 hours trying to sell me there crap even though I told them no no no and yet they still tried it . Couldn't wait to get out of the place if I ever buy another car otbwont be from carbase that's for sure !!!!

I was sold a broken car. They took 8 weeks to take it in to get it fixed. I've now waited over 4 weeks to get the car back to me and I'm still waiting. As soon as they sell you a car, they don't care. They don't communicate and no one seems to know what is going on. I get lied to about when things are happening and given recycled information. Really awful and would not recommend at all.

Hi there, This is Patrick Webber, I recently purchased a Peugeot Partner via Bristol Vanbase, and this was later transferred to the auto centre in Weston-super-Mare for repairs under warranty. Initial experience buying the vehicle was great, sales team helpful and efficient. However shortly after purchasing my van multiple warning lights started appearing on the dash, along with pungent white smoke from the exhaust. This was taken to the auto centre under warranty, they initially just cleared the warning lights and told me to “monitor it” which I wasn’t happy with. Unsurprisingly the van was back at the auto centre less than a fortnight later with the exact same issue. I was told to expect around a 4 day turnaround and my van has now been with the auto centre for 13 days! Every single day I call and don’t get through to anyone, so have to give up after about 10/15 minutes on hold. The auto centre have only bothered calling to update me ONCE throughout this whole time. Yesterday I walked 2+ miles to get there and ask in person what is going on, and now my van apparently won’t even start due to an “electrical fault” which wasn’t even an issue when the van went in. They have clearly made a mistake in the workshop and caused further damage. This is my one and only vehicle and I use it every day for work! I have been unable to work for almost 2 weeks now! That’s a potential £2600 in earnings lost!! I cannot afford this! Staff at carbase seem not to care at all on the rare occasions I can finally get through to them! This is completely unacceptable! Couldn’t be more disappointed with the service and wouldn’t recommend to anyone! I believe I should be entitled to compensation for such terrible service, plus a massive loss of earnings. At the very least a courtesy vehicle should have been offered so that I could work during this time. If I’d at least been warned of the timescale I could have made better arrangements, but I’ve been totally left in the dark and unable to contact anyone for the entire ordeal!
