I bought a car from CarShop Northampton with a million faults the day after - and trying to get the Customer service team to rectify the issue has taken 3 months of rude staff , stressful phone conversation, chasing around the Customer Service manager for feedback . Very very unprofessional I would honestly not recommend anyone to this Dealer. NEVER AGAIN

I met Paul starter senior sales advisor not helpful at all, if l wasn’t strong l would have collapsed inform of you, l don’t know how l even reached home, l brought in my car for m.O.T which l got from them 7months only to be told by this care free man my car needs a timing belt which is 605. So CarShop Northamtpn can’t do the MOT till the belt is done. Who can take that.

In short traded in our car for a Kia Sportage. Staff tried to add an extra £50 for getting the car they recommended. The salesman was disinterested. After we paid over £11K for the car was told had to hand over extra £500 as we had retained our cherished Reg plate. Then once all paid up shownnto the “prepared” and checked Kia to find huge chunk out of the windscreen and couldn’t take the car as windscreen needed to be replaced. Initially told would be fine next day then the next day told would take 4 days. Told would take 7 days to get money back need to change insurance paid for car tax have to make extra journeys to collect the car. No took responsibility no one apologised no one offered any explanation useless. Very unhappy 😔

My wife and I were looking to buy a Kia Sportage after waiting an age for the 'salesman' to get the car we inspected it but we're not happy with the proce the sales manager came over and said he could get the same car for £500 cheaper and then showed us the same make and model with the same age and mileage at their Swindon branch and we agreed the price and paid a deposit. We viewed the car soon after and agreed to buy it but wanted a cherished plate put on the car we were told Car Shop doesn't do this. My wife's car was being part ex and on the plate so we retained the plate and attended to buy the Kia. We paid over £11K and went to collect our car. At collections we were told we needed to pay £500 deposit as the V5 was for the old reg.... Then when we went to collect the Kia only driven by us a few days earlier the mileage was different and the windscreen had been hit with a brick or similar and immediately it was obvious the windscreen needed to be replaced. We were told this would happen the following day but now been told it will take 4 days and that the spare keys have gone missing. We have asked for an investigation but have been fobbed off. We have demanded our money back but have been told it will take 7 days. We have paid £11,500 for a car we don't have and have extra costs for changing insurance paying for the tax on the car, travelling to Northampton on numerous occasions and the staff keep saying that can't go against their procedures and that yes it's their fault but they can't help.

I have had my Golf for a few months now and its been great! It drives really well and when I received it, It was nice and clean and in very good shape. All of the dealers were really helpful and friendly and the car was a very good price. I would happily recommend this dealership to anyone.

I purchased an Audi A3 from here in January and up to now I have had no issues with it! It was nice and clean an din great condition and up to now I have had no issues with it at all! it was nice and clean and in very good condition. The dealers explained everything in a way that I could easily understand and were very friendly. They gave me a very good price for my old car and they provide very good additional warranties. I would recommend this dealership.

Purchased my van from a very keen salesman at the Carshop Northampton. When i arranged to come back later for the test drive alarm bells should have rung when it lasted around 10 minutes due to lack of fuel in the vehicle. We pulled into the nearest garage for fuel and the salesman only had £3 on him which got us back up the road. Despite this i went ahead with the purchase, the van being in good condition and only 3 years old with 58k on the clock. Once you have signed the paperwork things go down hill from there with a lot of waiting around as they ignore you. The salesman got carried away and had organised the Guard-Ex paint treatment to be added (£300) without my authorising anything which caused a lot of paperwork problems. I refused to pay for this. Even though a Guard-Ex sticker had been put in my windscreen on pick up the van was filthy so had not even been cleaned. The front tyre was half inflated only noticing when i had to pull into the garage for fuel. ( After being kept waiting for pick up over an hour it was dark) Since owning the van ( sold with full service history and a 114 point safety check ) i had to report a number of issues. 1. Would not start on 4 occasions. 2. Brakes felt a bit vague. ( Ending up replacing all pads - cost - £ 110.) 3. Rear coil had snapped ( cost - £ 180 - Car shop paid for this work as these must have slipped through the safety check !! ) 4. Rough gear selection - reported within the 3 month warranty period that came with the van. 5. Rattles from behind the passenger side pillar. The van was booked in for a check to look at the gear selection problems in Feb but due to work commitments i had to cancel. I asked for the service centre to contact me twice to arrange a further visit but they never did. I had to go into the centre and book myself at my next time off on leave. The car shop kept the van over one day ( despite not telling me ) I tried on 3 attempts to get someone to call me - again ignored. After just going down to the service centre the Manager (Paul) had obviously forgotten my face and was clueless when i asked him about my van. After waiting 10 minutes a customer care member of staff told me that no fault was found with the gears or selection. They would have to order a part for the passenger pillar rattle and contact me in due course. The very same day after picking up the van i had it booked into a Vauxhall main dealer for service and MOT. Which showed up a fault on the Gearbox selector Seal and driveshaft seal both leaking oil with a replacement to be done urgently. Cost - £720. How strange that the Carshop Northampton technician had missed this. Even though they had the van for over a day! Tried to contact the Car Shop Northampton on several occasions via phone and their online form to no reply. Another trip planned today to let them know that i will be contacting Citizens advice/trading standards and the finance company to see why they sold me a vehicle Not fit for purpose with a view to rejecting it under the Sales of goods act.

I purchased a Vauxhall insignia from here back in August. The car was clean and in very good condition and a very good price. There was an issue with the car which took a while to be sorted but now that it's been fixed its been fine. I would recommend this dealership.

In August I bought a car from Carshop Northampton. It was clean and just as it was described when i received it and up to now I have had no issues with it. The only down side it that when they delivered the car to me they drove it rather than having it transported which added a couple of hundred miles on the car but other than that I am really happy and I would recommend this dealership.
