My friend and I bought Peugeot 208 (WU62 GKG) on 9 August. On the day Amir jump start it and said it's because the car has been sitting for a while and once you drive it ,it will charge itself. I drove it to a gas station- 130 Eastern Ave, Ilford IG4 5AQ- switched it off to fill out petrol. I tried to start it and it won't budge. There were two guys, good Samaritans who helped and we would always be grateful to them. They helped to put the car out of the way for others to use the fuel station. Especially the second guy he went, got a jump start cable and came back to help again. I called Carz Express to inform them of the situation at which point they said to call my insurance. As our insurance wouldn't kick off before 24 hrs, I had to ask them again, after so many calls they said the manager will come. The manager came just about the time the Samaritan was helping and the car was starting. Even the manager thanked the gentleman. Then the manager apologized and said it should be fine. So we went off on our way home. On Tuesday 11 August I tried to start the car and the battery was dead. I was towed to a mechanic who checked and said that the car is undrivable because of the below: Vehicle Report Registration: WU62 GKG Make/Model: Peugeot 208 Findings: 1. 12 V battery is faulty and requires replacement. 2. Alternator is not charging. 3. During acceleration, vehicle produces blue smoke from the exhaust. Recommendation: To proceed with further diagnostics, the alternator and battery must be replaced. I called Carz Express and couldn't find Amir/Ali on the day. The gentleman I spoke to said he can't help and it is my responsibility to recover the car. I had no option but to pay £180 for recovery as well. I have updated Carz Express with all that was happening. I had to cancel my insurance which incurred a £30 fee. On 16 August my friend & I went back to return all documents and get my money. They told me that the car is fine now, they have fixed everything, drove it everywhere in Romford and guaranteed that all is good now. We said why didn't you do that before we took it the first day? Why do we have to be out of pocket? The reason that we went there in the first place was to save money and buy a reasonable car. Irrespective of the Customer Act 1995- we had to haggle for more than three hours to get our money back. The irony is they wanted to charge us an administration fee of £200 plus driven miles. When in fact they drove it themselves with our petrol and they expected us to pay for it! The only time we drove it was when we took the car home on the day we bought it! But we did fill £27.5 worth of fuel. We were lucky that we didn't go full tank. The manager said to call him on Monday 11 August to discuss about the recovery cost. I called and texted a couple of times but they never returned my call or text even if it is only say no! If it is helpful I can put all the communication I had with them and a picture of the car being recovered! It was my first car and I had a very bad experience. My rating is one star only because it was not allowing me to submit, otherwise it is zero.

Bought a car just 3 months ago. Started hearing strange noises. Took the car to the garage had brakes, shoes, oil filter and oil. Noise was investigated and wet belt is no good. Already spent £500 can't use the car incase ruins whole engine now going to cost another £1400! Called them explained the situation and was told only get one month warranty, my problem and put the phone down. Will get in touch with the appropriate people. I will not give up on this.

I bought a car from this dealer on January 31, 2025 – and after just 3.5 months the engine completely FAILED! A certified mechanic confirmed the car looked like it hadn’t even been serviced before sale. This is absolutely outrageous! I reported the issue immediately, and their reaction? ZERO help, empty promises, endless excuses. After weeks of stress, they told me it’s “not their problem”. Meanwhile, I’ve spent over £1,000 on recovery and diagnostics, and the car is still DEAD on my driveway. The worst part? I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS USELESS CAR EVERY MONTH! How can this even be acceptable?! If you’re reading this and thinking of buying here – DON’T DO IT! Save yourself the stress, financial loss, and misery.

Don’t like being told they will fix the problem !!!! Strange people to deal with Buyer beware
This is the worst of the worst company to purchase a car from. I bought my car from them and cost me thousands to fix it after 3 months. The welas oil leak, the chassis was faulty. I have even taken then to small claims and the case is still pending. The owner admitted fault but he was unwilling to pay me my money for the repairs I made even when he promised to refund me my money for the damage they caused. They know the car is faulty but they will go ahead to sell it and not disclosed it toyou. When the car develops a fault and you report they turn a blind eye. I have been chasing them for 2 years to refund me my money. One minute they will say they are waiting for thier lawyers to give them the go ahead to refund within a week. They've been saying the same shit for 2 years.

ignored the reviews online as people can be harsh. Car was not in perfect condition had major issues and tried to lie about it being done, saying they will create fake invoices. Told the mechanic to tell us that the work has been done, although it hadn’t. awful condition car although stated otherwise in add. Whoever buys that car will not be safe on the road
This garage has sold my partner a car, we have 2 young children 9 and 3 whose lives they have put at risk as well as ours! It hasn't even been a month and the car is covered under a month's warranty. They are refusing to respond to us. I have spoken to the man on the phone and he said he would call me back and has not!!!!! The cars showing 10 faults on a diagnostics machine, there is a major oil leak on the gearbox and engine. He will be getting shut down after we've finished with them.

So so bad they lie about anything you find and tell you very little upfront. Dont move on price and ignore your messages after you purchase from them. 100% stay clear at all costs. I had my car a week and spent hundreds on making it right amd now they won't even hold there hands up amd help with cost. Even worse they now ignore me completely.
