After purchasing my Land Rover Discovery from Colin Mostons, Joe and Nick could not have been more helpful. After 5 months of having the car I started to experience a running issue (in fairness I had done roughly 9,000 miles as the vehicle is used as our little work horse). I was supplied with a nationwide warranty as standard with my Disco and despite me saying it was no bother, they insisted they got the car back to them so they could get their experienced land rover specialists to take a look for me. One Turbo later and problem solved, all covered under my warranty and I've had no trouble since. They were always there when I needed them and the car was turned around in 4 days. From the sales service to the after sales I can honestly say that I will not be buying from anywhere else. Cars are cars and things can go wrong as we all know, but it's important that there is a helping hand at the end of the phone should you need it. Colin Mostons are that helping hand. Thanks again Joe and Nick I will see you soon for our next purchase. Claire

Bought my BMW 1 series 4 months ago and its been trouble free. I shall be returning to Colin Moston to replace and upgrade it next year.

Very poor customer service at Colin Moston. Joe is disrespectful and unprofessional, when I asked for a contact for his boss joe told me his boss 'Nick' would be "even worse" then put the phone down on me!

In light of this review, as a company we are genuinely shocked and disappointed. You came to view a vehicle and put down a £200 non-refundable deposit which was agreed to and signed by yourselves on your invoice. We then got the car MOT'd and had ordered a rear windscreen wiper for you as this was requested at the time of doing the deposit. The following week we received a phone call saying that you no longer wanted the vehicle because it needed 3 individual seats in the back (despite this already being the case with the vehicle you put the deposit on), leading me to believe that the real reason could have been somewhat superficial. Due to the fact that we don't like to see our customers money go to waste, we explained the two options that were viable. 1. We can source you another vehicle that would be suitable to fit your £1000 budget with all the requirements you needed and we can then transfer your deposit to this vehicle or 2. You can source a vehicle elsewhere but unfortunately would lose the £200 deposit that was agreed at the time of sale. We decided it would be best to source a vehicle for you and spent over 3 weeks searching daily for a car for you. In this time we made it clear that we would not buy from another independent dealer or a private seller as we do not trust that they would have been checked over to a satisfactory standard. Unfortunately we were not able to come to an agreement over a new vehicle and your deposit was lost. As I explained on the phone to you, we want to do all we can to use your money wisely for you should you change your mind on a car you purchased. A word to all customers regarding not just us, but any dealership you may be looking to buy from... Make sure you are 100% happy with the vehicle and the agreement made at the time of sale before putting down any sort of deposit! If we had sold the car to another party after taking the deposit then the customer would not be happy as we have let down our side of the agreement, but an agreement works both ways. We could not have been more helpful and I trust that you have found a car that fits your requirements. As mentioned multiple times on the phone, the offer still stands if you would like us to source you another. Regards.

I would not recommend. The service and aftercare from Colin Moston was awful. The car has had numerous issues and had had to go back several times. In total I have only had the car in my possession for 5.5 weeks out of the 12 I've had it. They have shown no remorse or apology for their poor service.

I bought a Golf from Colin Moston in January and up to now I have had no issues with it. It was clean and in good condition when I received it and the dealers were really helpful and friendly. This is my second car from Colon Moston, I would definitely recommend them.

Saw the car on a Sunday and agreed a price and the issues that needed fixing for collection the following Friday. Main issues were a faulty rear wiper, very low and pitch black oil and the car was filthy inside, otherwise looked okay. Was promised that the car would be serviced, valeted, the wiper would be repaired and a fresh MOT done. On the Friday arrived to find the valet amounted to the salesman hovering out the interior of the car, the outside had not been touched. Informed that the vehicle had just returned from having the MOT done and we found that the number plate lights were not working and one headlight washer not working the service amounted to topping the oil up, no oil change or filter etc. Asked for the washer to be fixed on site but they couldn't manage re-fixing a rubber tube. All in all I found the attitude and lack of service appalling.

Wow we have had exact same experience. When we said we were unhappy with the car we had previously agreed on Joe (the only salesman) became defensive, disrespectful and refused to give contact details of the owner, so feel appalled by the service. Would highly recommend the owner of Colin Moston's to rethink their management.

I recently purchased bought a Citron C5 from Colin Moston Cars and it is great. I have no issues what so ever. Very good dealership who I would happily recommend. The car was very good value for money and runs perfectly.

Absolutely appalling company. Bought an - admittedly - cheap car as part exchange as I needed something with a tow bar. I said I just needed a run around for a couple of years as I don't do much driving and my last car lasted about 10 years. The car I bought from them had a head gasket problem which they obviously must have known about as it was apparent to me within a week. I had 3 months of issues with the thing and then I had to scrap it. £600 down the drain, I may as well have kept my old car. They just want to stiff people selling crap cars for as much as possible in full knowledge that they're faulty. £600 is maybe not much to them, but it is to me.

Part exchanged my car for a family car. I receved it 1 month later and it had an oil leak, pretty simple so sent back it took them 6 months giving me a bunch of courtsey cars which in all honesty where absolute death traps, to eventualy fix a simple oil leak. Atitude was that they really didnt care, all they want is to sell cars dont- care about after sales. I would never recomend Colin Moston to anyone.

Went to see car noticed the window didn't work and blankly told me that he was not gonna be fixing it the car was 5000 ,attitude and cocky does not sell cars
