In September 2023, I purchased a VW Caddy van in preparation for my retirement. I've had nothing but problems with it and have had to return on numerous occasions for various reasons. I've been repeatedly fobbed off and given all sorts of excuses. Three months after purchasing, a technician finally agreed to come for a test drive with me after I had been reporting a steering problem when going above 60 mph. He was terrified when he saw the condition of the vehicle, and we were both shaken up after almost losing control driving at 70mph on the motorway. He admitted that driving it was dangerous! Even with the technician experiencing firsthand that I was driving a potential death trap, they 'fixed' the issue by replacing the ABS pump with a second hand one! I’d had enough of the issues and excuses, and especially using a second-hand part to 'repair' something that was already so dangerous. I requested to speak with the manager, but the sales team informed me that he does not interact with customers. I can only presume the reason for this is that he is filled with remorse for taking people's hard-earned money and selling them such dangerous vehicles. Compact Cars takes pride in being an 'AA Approved Dealer', and their website makes it apparent what this means. It's ridiculous that they can advertise this when they failed to meet the criteria. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Happy Retirement to me. PS – Still having problems with the van.

Went passed this garage by chance as we were looking for another one.. Glad we did ..Ground the best Ford Kuga we could have wished for ..Luis the salesman although young was amazing and very knowledgeable for a young man .. No pressure and everything he promised he did.. Totally recommend this garage and of course Luis the salesman ..
