What a wonderful experience... We recently purchased our car from this company, but sadly within a day a bearing went bad in the gearbox (it happens). The local gearbox/clutch company wanted £1400 pounds to rebuild the gearbox and clutch. The clutch didn't actually need replacing it turned out, but seeing as the gearbox was to come out anyway, we decided it best if we change it anyway (our choice). We called the Cornish Car Company back & told them of the problem & they were great. They took the car & repaired the gearbox at their own cost, & we just paid the clutch that we'd decided to change anyway. They also have great communications and are more than friendly too. We can't recommend them enough!

We purchased a car from this company and found within a day that it had a bearing bad in the gearbox. The only real gearbox/clutch company in Cornwall wanted 1400 pounds to rebuild the gearbox and replace the clutch. Mind you the clutch was not worn out but if the gearbox is out, may as well change it. We advised Cornish Car Company of this and they were great. They took the car and repaired the gearbox at their cost and it only cost me parts and minor labor to replace the clutch, bearings and slave cylinder. This was only 160 pounds. They have great communications and are more than friendly. Can't recommend them more!
