Loving my new MX5, great customer service from Brandon White at Coventry Mazda.
Very good selection of cars and a very good deal on a pre reg Suzuki. Darren was an excellent salesman - no hard sell at all, lots of straight and honest advice. I had a slight problem with a financial issue and Darren immediately suggested a solution that was suitable. Very pleased with the car, the deal and the customer service.
We were optimistic when we bought the Mazda from Nick at the showroom because he seemed like a nice man but since, have felt badly let down because of the outright lies, that we have been fobbed off with. It is only a little thing but the towing hook cover was missing from the car and we were promised it would be replaced when we picked up the vehicle, unfortunately it wasn't. The salesman then said he would order it, get it painted to match the car and send it to us. Weeks passed and no sign of it so after several phone calls which were not returned I sent Nick an email to which he responded with a phone call and promised me that he would sort it out. Again several weeks passed with me phoning leaving messages and again no return calls. I eventually went to my local Mazda (I live in London) and managed to get the part the next day - for £10 + vat already colour coded. Now I don't mind them not providing the part although we paid £15000 for the car it's the lying that is the worry. I would say be guarded when dealing with sales from Coventry Mazda.

Work not carried out by Coventry Mazda as requested. Car delivered early in the morning, yet service not started until very late afternoon, Parts do not appear to be stocked on site resulting in multiple visits that any other dealer would do in a single day. Car not cleaned. Work that was done was not quality checked properly. Have arranged for car servicing to now be done 20 miles away with a different dealer and a check on the car to ensure the service was actually done correctly. I would advise not signing a service agreement with dealer as you might end up being stuck with them.
Very good experience of buying a new car at Coventry Mazda. Stress free no pressure and a very good price.
One year old mazda 6 needed replacenent foot kick plate due to faulty lighting. Promised it would be ordered. Not done. Then promised it would be in by time of cars first service a month later. Amazingly it was so took car in for booked service. Took them three hours! Car not washed or valeted after service and now have to clean filthy oily marks off cream leather interior. Filthy workmen. Catalogue of faults when first bought car brand new as well, too numerous to detail. This place has seriously gone downhill since new manager started.
I Received a safety recall letter from Mazda. 2 potentially dangerous faults. Made appointment then had it cancelled and rearranged for 2 weeks later. I was told work would take 1-2 hours to complete. Booked for 9.30am. When I arrived I was told my car will not be looked at until 10.30am. My appointment was for 9.30am not 10.30am. At 11.00 my car was still where I had parked it. I asked Andrew when is it going to be taken in. He said I will do it myself for you. 11.15am. Still no sign of my car being looked at. I approached Andrew again, he didn't remember who I was until I reminded him I had just spoken not long before! Finally my car was looked at and returned around 40mins later. I asked for evidence the safety works had been completed, to be told that is not what we usually do. I asked for something in writing to evidence the work had taken place and received a hand written note. This is my first and likely to be my last visit I'm afraid. I met with another three disgruntled customers who were all complaining about promises made to them. Work not completed and the very very poor communication between work colleagues.

I work in sales and I would like to stress that the service team are battleing through many service needs at present, we are all trying to please everyone as best we can, thousands of customers are very happy and unfortunatly some not, we will truley try to do what ever we can to keep our customers as satisfied as we can.
Terrible service! Oil not topped up (not even to the minimum!), inside car left dirty (oil stains on leather), 'complimentary wash, leather and vacuum' not performed, foul-language from car cleaner, car health-check had too many mistakes (contradictory left/right wheels compared to service report) - all in process with Motor Ombudsman. DO NOT USE - awful (the worst) car service experience I've had.
Paid a holding deposit on a Mazda that was for sale at Coventry Mazda. Drove over 120 miles to view car. Car wasn't not as described. Sales man never mentioned dent in the door as if someone had attempted to break in with a crowbar. When I wouldn't commit to purchasing the car they turned nasty and told me to go elsewhere to buy a car. They reluctantly gave my holding deposit back but made it very clear for me not to come back again. Worst service experienced at a main dealer.
