I spoke with someone at this company today .This person had a terrible attitude , "Take it or leave it ,, I dont care " attitude . My god if thats how you are spoken to while conducting a sales enquiry then how would it be if there was a problem with the vehicle you had bought ?. I know that the owner is supposed to be straight talking , I like that as I am the same ,, but there is a big difference between straight talking and down right rude , and couldnt give a T*ss . I would avoid this company until they can adopt some manners and at least grasp the basics of being polite !.

I today bought a van from Mr Tucker of Creech Motor Company, My 4th from him,
I was told of your conversation with him by his employee, you called on a £15995 van and offered Mr Tucker £10,000 over the phone which I find an insult having not even seen the vehicle,
That’s what prompted a review from myself, I find it very detrimental to try to ruin someone’s reputation who has been in the business over 25 years with fiction,
Please in future state the full facts or not at all.
I never leave reviews but felt strongly at the misinformation and misjustice carried out here.

Dear Mr Roberts, Thank you for your suspiciously timely and convenient response to my honest reveiw . I have to tell you the you are completely wrong about the conversation that I had with Creech motor company. My conversation was firstly , did he still have the van ?, and secondly , if I bought the van would he remove the 70 Mph speed limiter that is fitted to the vehicle ?. The vehicle in question is the VW Caddy priced at £10,995 ( £13,194 with VAT) . At NO TIME was money ever mentioned , and an offer was NEVER put forward. In fact I know the price of these vehicles and that is the going rate for one which I was happy to pay . And finally , the "person " who answered the phone did not give a name so I had no idea who I was talking to. It seems that contrary to being well informed about this incident , you actually have zero facts and no idea as to the conversation that has taken place !.

I find it very strange that you decide to sabotage my honest review of my purchase, being my 4th with this company and yourself having purchased nothing, I will state some facts and truths,
1, This is my 4th van with as yet no problems.
2, I was informed by a member of staff about your conversation with Mr Tucker, now that’s what I was told of the situation, you say something completely different, I don’t think you are going to fall out over a speed limiter of a van you haven’t seen or purchased, enough for you to leave such a scathing review of someone’s business.
3, I stated I don’t leave reviews as norm, but you sir I find offensive to attack someone with a disability and no facts to back anything up other than hearsay.
4, The most unbelievable thing is you have never visited the garage, viewed or purchased any vehicle, or ever met any member of staff in person,
But feel the need to slaughter someone’s business and reputation,
5, Your dishonesty and fictional comments and people like you can destroy a company that has in business over 25 years, I feel strongly about this as I to am in business and rely on word of mouth and reviews to help my business.

Without doubt ,it is your reveiw that is suspicious .I phoned Creech Motors as an initial approach to discuss fundamental issues that would stop me buying the vehicle . This was done for good reason as I live 120 miles away and do not want to travel that distance for something that was not right for my needs . You simply know very little or nothing about my conversation with this company , indeed you information is a biased version from " an employee " at the same company that is being reviewed !!. I find your intervention and version of events quite disturbing not to mention suspicious . So much so that I have raised my suspicions with CAR DEALER REVIEWS with regard to fraudulent behaviour on your behalf , as far as Im concerned this matter is now in their hands to investigate . I will not be commenting further .

Just a message to Mr Tucker, you are a very straightforward salesman with no air and graces and made us feel like diamonds. Michael gave us time and let us try out his cars. This time, we didn't buy NOT because the 2 cars had anything wrong but one had too eye-catching lemon colour and the other we are still considering. Really refreshing to find such a gem of a garage, the owner waited past his shutting time last weekend specially to allow us to see his cars and as we travelled 120 miles from Newbury, we were late. Thank you Michael, you're an angel.
If you're after the best then go for this garage! You won't be disappointed!

I want to tell you about my experience of buying a vehicle from Creech. I bought my original vehicle over 10 years ago and even though we've moved up country, I said when I needed another van I would go back to Michael. As before, nothing has been too much trouble and I am very pleased with my new vehicle and the price.

I wish I had seen the other reviews on Creech Motor Company. My story is very similar to the negative review on this site. Less than 6 weeks after buying a van, I had a sudden problem with the clutch and changing gear. I managed to get home with difficulty. The following day I phoned Michael Tucker who immediately said the clutch wasn't covered by the warranty but “bring it back” and he would get his trusted mechanic to look at it. I understand that items that wear are not covered by the warranty, but this was a sudden failure. As I live 50 miles away I didn't think I could drive it there. I decided to get it to a local garage and get them to assess the problem. They phoned me within an hour to say that the problem wasn't the clutch but the gearbox. On relaying this to Michael Tucker, he said that the gearbox would be covered by his warranty, but “as you know the warranty was 50:50”. This was never said to me when I bought the van. Mr Tucker said that he did tell me and that there is info about the warranty on the wall of the office. He did not, and there was nothing obvious on the walls of the office, he also didn't give me anything in writing about any warranty. I regard myself as quite an observant person and I had to wait for over 5 minutes in the office while they looked for the key. If he had said the warranty was 50:50 on the costs, or I had seen this, I would probably have backed out of the deal, especially as the warranty was only 3 months. I had been looking at buying through auctions, but decided to go with a dealer for some comeback if anything went wrong.
The gearbox was removed and sent to a specialist for repair. The total bill was £850.
I sent a copy to Mr Tucker asking him to reimburse me in full within 14 days or I would take him to the small claims court for the cost of repair AND my loss of earnings as I had no vehicle for 7 days. This amounted to a further £1200. The 14 days passed without anything heard from Mr Tucker. I then went on-line and started the small claims court proceeding. The court costs was £105 which was payable immediately.
A few days later, Mr Tucker phoned to say that weeks ago he had just received the court papers. He appeared surprised as he had sent a cheque for the repair cost 4 weeks previous. I confirmed that nothing was received which is why I had instigated court proceedings. The following day a cheque arrived for the repair cost. I wrote back thanking him for the part payment and confirmed that I would be continuing with court action. A week later a further cheque arrived for my loss of earnings. The only part Mr Tucker hadn't paid was the £105 court costs. I accepted this second cheque in settlement as I didn't want to waste time going to court.
In summary I would suggest caution when buying from Michael Tucker. There were a number of other small issues with the van, that became clear in the first few weeks after purchase. The spare tire had a nail in it, one of the 2 batteries wasn't holding charge, the aircon doesn't work. A couple of bulbs didn't work and one of the stop tail bulbs had been jammed in upside-down so the bright stop filament worked when the tail lights were on.
These minor things on their own weren't significant, but they did lead me to believe that no checking of any sort was carried out on the vehicle prior to sale. All they seem to do is give the vehicle a good clean. When I bought the van, there was only 3 months left on the MOT. Upon getting it tested, it failed on a wheel bearing at £200.
If you buy from Michael Tucker and Creech Motor Company, clarify the terms of the warranty and insist upon the vehicle having a MOT at the very least. If the vehicle is good, you will be happy. If not, you will have some comeback and if you are not satisfied, start legal proceedings. Any vehicle sold by a dealer must be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose as is reasonable to expect having regard to its price, mileage and description.

AND WE WOULD PICK THE VAN UP AT OUR EXPENSE, AS WE HAVE TRAINED MECHANICS WHICH COST OUR COMPANY TRADE RATES, SO WOULD OF COST US A FRACTION OF THE GARAGE YOU TOOK TO THAT CHARGE RETAIL PRICES AS YOU ARE A RETAIL CUSTOMER, AND WHEN WE ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE GARAGE THAT DONE YOUR VAN YOU WOULDNT LET US SPEAK TO THEM DIRECT, WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS A BIT ODD AS WE WAS PICKING UP THE BILL, FOR THE REPAIR,YOU JUST STARTED PROCEEDS TO TAKE MY COMPANY TO COURT,WITHOUT LETTING US TALK TO THE SO CALLLED GARAGE WHO FIXED YOUR VAN, SO IN MY MIND I DONT REALLY KNOW IF I WAS TOTALLY SCAMED, AND IF THERE WAS EVER ANYTHIN WRONG WITH YOUR VEHICHE, BUT TO PUT THIS REVIEW ON ABOUT MY COMNPANY,IS TOTALLY SHOCKING. I wanted to share a story about Michael tucker of Creech Motors. 6 weeks after purchasing a £6000 van the power steering rack needed replacing, thinking we were ok because we were provided with warranty at point of purchase we contacted Creech Motors and were told by Michael tucker that he never sold us the van. I then decided to send him an email pointing out the consumer rights act 2015 and he didn't respond to that so I then called him. He then told me that the warranty didn't cover me and if it did I would be responsible for 50% of the cost. Forced to have the work carried out else where because the van was un drivable for £640 I sent him an email requesting payment of £320 he hasn't even bothered to respond. He is to be given a wide birth don't buy from this guy he will dodge your emails and calls and will not honour his Micky mouse warranty. Please avoid the experience we have had and go some where else with your hard earned money.

I am a good friend of Michael and his family and can certify that Michael was on family leave abroad while you tried contacting him. He was therefore unable to pick up on his emails at this time. Everyone is entitled to leave and this is stated on the government website under holiday entitlement. I hope you read it at your own pleasure.
