In December 2018 I bought a 9-year old Grand Vitara from here and I felt the service was friendly, open and honest, and the price negotiation I felt was fair.. When I collected the car, John had brought it inside a garage to keep it out of the rain ( it was winter!) and took plenty of time to take me through the various features of the car which would be useful to know. He didn't have to do that, but I learned some new mechanical things and I greatly appreciated the care. So, here I am after a year's trouble free motoring ( 15K miles ); glad that I bought a Vitara and glad that I bought it form David.

What a great service from David James Cars, although I was on a limited budget I was extremely satisfied with the service, he went out of his way to do extra jobs that perhaps you would not have expected with the low budget I had. Excellent, would definitely recommend David James Car Sales.

Can’t fault David James Cars On anything. The whole experience was pleasant. From going to view the car, purchasing it, and collection. The care for the customer is there, and didnt shy from going that extra mile or making that car look it’s best befor it left his forecourt, which is more than I can say for other garages that we viewed in the area. Highly recommended

I've recently bought a second-hand vehicle from David James Cars. David was extremely helpful and provided me with an extremely fair deal. I'm very pleased with the car and have no hesitation in recommending David James Cars to anyone wishing to purchase a secondhand vehicle.

This dealer states on their website "At David James Cars we can also offer you an extensive range of services and extras meaning that you can buy your used car with confidence and peace of mind." Alas this is not true, I called to enquire about an advertised car and to follow up on some questions that hadn't been answered in my initial query email. One question was 'how did the car come to be for sale with you, from a Kia dealership or direct from previous owner?' I was shocked to be told "you asked that in your email and the reason I didn't answer is because where we get our cars from is our business" if they can't answer a simple question about the cars history I don't want to buy a car from David James Cars - not recommended.
