This is the worst car dealership I have ever come across. I originally bought a Vauxhall Vectra 1.9cdti 07 Plate from these in February 2016. It came with 30 days warranty which covers for any problems from the date of sale. Unfortunately, within them 30 days we had an issue with the battery. EVERYDAY the car would not start with the turn of a key and would needed to be jump started. So we took the car first to a local garage to test the battery and the alternator. The result was the battery was too weak... So we contacted this dealership "Dean Smith Car Sales" and explained the situation regarding the battery. The man on the phone (big bloke) told us to pop down and he'll have a look. So we did. But as you or anybody would expect, they tried to fob us off just for the fact that we drove to the car dealership. So we left the garage and assumed it would be fine... But yet again the car failed to start the very next morning. After 4 attempts of trying to CONVINCE the dealeship owners, they finally put another new battery in. HOWEVER, this battery was unsuitable for the car as this had 540Amps when realistically a car with a 1.9 diesel engine would need around 650Amps. So AGAIN, we contacted the dealership and yep as you know it, THEY FOBBED US OFF! We eventually gave up with this cowboy car dealership and called the AA to have a look at our car as obviously the car had yet again broken down. The AA man did his checks with the battery and suprise suprise... the battery was too weak, not the right size and simply unsuitable for the vehicle! We have now gone out of our way and bought a brand new battery to be fittted in. The car is now running fine but i wish could the same to the level of service these have given us. They are nothing but a bunch of time wasters and story tellers. WOULD SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP!
