Showroom at this Desira Group Branch in London is empty. No one in the office so I cannot get my car serviced
I had the misfortune to go to desira london yesterday to purchase a fiat 500. We were met by KJ a wholly, over the top, full of self importance, know all, typical stereotype car sales man. He talked far too much, did not listen enough, spoke to us as if we were imbeciles, and unable to understand him. He gave me a headache. Needless to say we did not purchase a car, not just because we couldn’t reach a deal, but we simply couldn’t deal with him any longer. He thinks he is wonderful even if he is the only one who does. I had heard not so good things about this dealership but thought I would go along anyway - mistake. I would never return and will advise family and friends not to either.
Stay well away! never use this service department - they are wholly incapable of undertaking repairs! My Alfa was delivered to Desira Group London a MONTH ago and still don't have it back. Was in for an under warranty fault repair - they did nothing with the cat at all for a week, then claimed it had no fault. Had to drive there and go on a ride along when the technician immediately agreed there WAS a fault. now a month later they still haven't fixed anything - always claiming to be "waiting for parts" whenever I ring up. Appalling service, and technically obviously have zero clue what they are doing - or car would have been fixed weeks ago! Do not risk losing your car for weeks / months by letting this lot play with it - take it to a reputable garage who know how to fix a car in a reasonable timeframe. Better to use a cowboy working out of a lockup than this bunch who don't have the slightest clue.
Desira Group London is not an honest dealership. Took my car in for service. They Broke the radio and then claimed it was like that when I dropped it off. Why do dealerships treat people like this and then act like gangsters. Not going there again.

Judge for yourself - e-mail quote correspondence pasted below (originals available). When I got to the Desira Southgate (London Colney) garage, they said that I had been mis-quoted, tut tutted about their central call centre staff, and said that the work would actually cost £1,200 and not the £478.98 quoted in the e-mail correspondence pasted below. The garage then refused to do the work. It was not that additional work was required beyond that quoted for, just that they had mis-quoted. I had taken a day's annual leave and incurred petrol costs but left with no work done on my car. Quote request e-mail from me: "Hello, I would like a quote for the MOT and service of my car, a Chrysler Crossfire. I believe that an auto transmission fluid change is now required. Please quote for a two spanner four year service and MOT,MOT, including: - Change the engine oil, using Mobil 1 OW40; - Change air conditioning filter; - Change air filter; - Change fuel filter; - Change spark plugs; - Change brake fluid; - Change engine coolant; - Change auto transmission fluid; and - Other items on the service schedule. I would like a fully inclusive VAT-inclusive quote for all of the above work, service and MOT." Quote response e-mail from Desira Group: "Our MOT’s are on offer for you at just £39.99. Due to all the components you require to be changed this year we can carry out a full service at an all inclusive cost of £399. We will carry out within this service all the components listed below except for the coolant change. We will check the coolant levels for you within the service but if you would like a complete change of the coolant we can do that at an additional cost of just £39.99. We recommend a complete coolant change every 5 years. The total cost for all the work you would like is £478.98."
