Drove 1.5 hours to collect a car, after 1 day the car went in limp mode. Was also promised the reverse camera would be ordered and sent out but still havnt received! Drove the car back up to have the car sorted and the salesman was disgusting rude, No insensitives where offered for the inconvenience such as fuel, absolutely no care whatsoever other than spoken to like dirt!! Avoid the garage at all costs !

Bad experience from start to finish! Drive up from near London to find the car had issues. Missing a back boot cover, which I was assured was there before hand . To be fair they did sort that. The parcel shelf was jammed down by the seats, it looked like it was put there to hide the damage. I spotted the damage, they assured me it would be sent, even wrote a letter of confirmation, but it wasn't sent. I challenged the sales manager who became threatening , he said he knows everything about his cars, but the parcel shelf was above his pay grade and above him. Jonathan has been obstructive and dismissive throughout. Having left the garage I realised the side plastic facia on the seat was broken, when I reported it, Jonathan became sarcastic and denied the damage was there before hand and refused to replace it. Having driven about 20 miles the engine management lights came on, i took the car for a full service £260it didn't fix the problem. There was also a major electrical fault!
Surprised to see so many poor reviews. Recently bought a vehicle with my daughter and everything was fine. Service was good, everything promised was done, car was immaculate when picked up, etc.. All considered it was a decent experience and 8 weeks after buying the car all is still fine.
Come and buy from here if you want sheit quality cars. On the suv / 4x4 part flat tyres, low tread on the majority of the stock scratches etc. Went on to the general stock and again cars with low tread tyres, flat batteries scratches, dents etc. These cars must have come straight from the MAG auction site without any preparation. AVOID A VOID or you will get burnt.
Worst experience I’ve ever come across in trying to purchase a vehicle avoid avoid avoid. I would never normally take the time to fill l something like this in but I believe everyone should be made aware that this company is very deceitful backhanded I would be very very cautious in dealing with them . Took my deposit straight away then the car suddenly became unavailable due to an engine management fault every time I rang up to see if it had been resolved no answer or the person dealing with it was not available two weeks later still no vehicle yet my money had been delivered to them. Poor communication Or any interest in the client. I have now had to cancel my finance which I lost a good deal on now struggling to get my deposit back. I could show you the communication between me and the dealership you would be shocked in the way they speak and deal with an individual.
Mums car didn't even last a week (independent diagnostics available), paper work he supplied not entirely accurate. Mum wanted car fixing and sorting. The man in the office called my 70 year old mum a slab. Doesn't think he has to do anything to put the situation right. DO NOT TOUCH DOUGLAS PAUL SELECT.
I bought my car firstly, the service was great simple well explained not your usual delboy nonsense. Love my car,took dad there for a change of motor. Again great service and a no nonsense honest service.would highly recommend douglas paul select.
Went a week ago to buy a car from Douglas Paul Select. Car was lovely, all faults I found were meant to be fix before pick up! Been today and found a cigarette burn on the trim that wasn’t there last week. And a few scratches. Car just wasn’t in condition for collection. Salesmen Seth was absolutely lovely and could fault a thing with him but the manager of this establishment’s attitude was absolutely appalling! Wouldn’t offer any compensation for making me wait longer and my personal expenses. wouldn’t guarantee the part would be as good as new on arrival. When I went to pull my deposit I was then also told that I would be charged for the GuardX on a car I wasn’t even having. Don’t even want to leave a rating as it was just disgusting service. Would no recommend!
I've Traveled 200 miles from south London to collected a vehicle not only the car wasn't serviced properly and while i was driving back to Home car engine light popped up and and engine closed......
