Bought an astra on finance within a month the clutch has gone tyres flat on first day I got it. Gears won’t go in and they won’t sort it keep telling me there’s nothing wrong with the car. Dont buy a car from here.

Drive Bury St Edmunds sell you a wheel refurbishment plan which wasn’t honoured. Promise to trade your car in then retract the offer. Sell you a 20 grand car within your budget only to find the service plan falls well short. Tell you to come and pick up you 17 grand car to find paperwork not done so you have to come back later. Accuse you of not paying a bill when you already have. Take 3 hrs to change a tyre. After buying 3 cars tell you you can’t pay for your repair two hrs later because they don’t know who you are, The list goes on.

After spending over 8 grand on a used car I should be happy with my purchase but when I received my car which took over a week for them to get ready it was missing the spare tyre and holder and all tools which from the marks i could tell use to be in the boot this meant the carpet linen doesn't fit, don't worry the dealer said i will ring you tomorrow to sort out a time to bring car back to sort it. So I took the car home with me which was when I realised there was no log book or manual service history or nothing which I was concerned about as I wasn't told this was missing. So over the next few day I tried to ring David the dealer but each time I just get the receptionist who told me David was busy and he would ring me back but he never did so i have given up and will have to replace missing parts out of my own money and take the hit when the time come to sell the car with no service history. So my advice is if you want a vauxhall don't get it from drive Bury St Edmunds as once they have your money they don't care.

If you get a problem they won't help. Buy your vauxhall somewhere else. They don't care no customer service

Having agreed to part exchange my car at Drive Vauxhall, I was looking forward to picking it up as arranged. I then received a call an hour before collection informing me that my car was not ready. Luckily I had not left home as my journey is an hour away, and my car would not be ready for another 2 hours. I began my journey to Bury St Edmunds according to my new pick up time only to receive another call telling me the car was not ready. I was then asked to go home and return later. As I was halfway there I explained that I wasn't going home. I then received a call asking me to sign paperwork and pay for my car, drive home and someone would drop my new car off later at some point to my home. With my insurance due to stop in half and having done an hours journey, after much haggling I finally collected my new car. What a thoroughly awful experience, completely ruined the joy of my new car for me. Would Not use this dealer again.
