The guy who owns it does not like to be questioned, very arrogant and full of self praise that makes me wary, mechanic was there working on other cars to which he instructed just turn the light out. Felt hassled and pressured.

i am not sure where you got that impression from because i am the opposite..!! never pushy and will always let the customer decide what is best for them. As for the mechanic how do you know what conversation was taking place before you so call heard what you did. We will regularly turn off engine management lights after plugging in and taking codes, and then take the vehicle for a test drive again, and if the light comes back on it will throw up the actual code that will tell exactly what is wrong. Of what benefit would there be to selling a car that we so called have turned a light out for it only to come back again within hours with the same problem.!! IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE..!!
Brought a Peugeot from Dunball Motors, car is great, they are thorough, honest ,and customer service is second to none, I would recommend them to anyone. Well done guys, will definitely buy my next car from them.

I purchased a Vauxhall from Dunball Motors at an absolutely great price. Everyone there was more than helpful and the car was immaculate when I went to pick it up. I can say from my experience it was all good. Worth a visit.

Be very wary of Dunball Motors. DO NOT BUY. Went to look at a car and purposely turned up unannounced and found the car "having a new battery fitted" with a diagnostic tool on the passenger seat. The guys looked taken back and a bit edgy, like we weren't supposed to see that. Obviously had been clearing fault codes from the ecu. Look the car over and the brakes were worn out. Pads all round and front discs needed replacing and 1 illegal tire and 3 other barely legal tires. Had to get him to pump up a tire before a test drive. Guy got really defensive and almost rude on about the fact we pointed out the illegal tire. Wasn't willing to do anything about it. Took for a spin up the road which made the service light come on, which was obviously what they were clearing off of it earlier with the snap on diagnostic tool. So basically the guy tried to sell me a car with the issues it had on its last mot (worn brakes) and poor, illegal tires and consciously made an effort to delete fault codes to turn off warning lights in order to take my hard earned money. STAY AWAY.

Looked at a car for sale at Dunball Motors that read in the advert 'drives superb'!! I read some reviews on the garage, which said they were honest, so I put a deposit down on it, but when I test drove it a few days later, there was a bad rumbling coming from underneath and a strong smell of burning oil, Not sure where the 'drives superb' came from! He drove it himself and then admitted that he hadn't actually driven the car. When I said I didn't want it, the guy said he'd refund my deposit, which he did ok, but then he had a job to speak to me after that. Bad customer service attitude. The worrying thing is the advert was still on the website some days after but at a lower price. I think the car most probably had a knackered engine. Dont think I would trust anything from Dunball Motors.

I've had a car from Dunball Motors before which is why I didn't bat an eyelid buying from them again this time round. I had a list of things I wanted doing to the car before I drove it away and he sorted them all out, the car had a major breakdown later on and he took the car in and fixed it with no questions asked. He gave me a courtesy car during the repairs so I can't knock the service at all. I recommend them 100%

This guy talks the talk when you go to buy the vehicle. As soon as he had sold it to me the engine management light came on. I took it back there to have it sorted, his mechanics just turned the light off. 2 weeks later the light came on again, i took it back down. This time he'd promised me the problem was sorted. a week later the EML light came on again, i refused to go back there so instead i took it to my garage who sorted out the problem straight away and sent the bill to dunball motors. The owner (Julian) is very rude and arrogant and I found him to be most unhelpful. After i complained over the phone his response was 'these things happen.' After i purchased the car i took it to an independent garage to have it checked out, they found that the brake pads needed replacing as they were completely worn down and furthermore the tracking was out horrendously. I would not recommend this place and certainly never buy from him again.
Dunball Motors have now been trading for over 16 years. They are a family run used car dealership that have a variety of models on sale to choose from. Volkswagen Golf, Citroen Xsara Picasso and Peugeot 306 are just some of the models in their range however they have other names too. They not only sell used cars but they also offer part exchange, finance, parts and MOTs when required.
