Do not trust Eco Motors in Calne. I bought a Vauxhall Zafira 2007 off this garage in April with a warranty plan. The car had white smoke coming out on the drive home from the garage. We took it back and a week later they allegedy fixed it. But instead of replacing the part they botched it. 3 weeks later it breaks again, I was quoted £100 to fix it. I rang the garage and they had forgotten to buy the warranty despite me having paid for it at sale. This warranty may have paid for the repairs as they clearly never planned to. They agreed to pay over the phone however I never saw the money after weeks of pestering, they never replied to an email, never called back when they said they would. They said it was my fault for driving the car on a long journey, Sharo was rude to me over the phone despite his charm offensive when selling the car, absolute snake. I would have thought they trust their mechanics repairs to last more than a month but clearly not. 6 months later and I've spent over £1000 on a £3000 car despite it being sold with a full service. My exhaust fell of last week from rust! My advice is to steer clear from this garage and their silver tongue salesmen.
Very keen and helpful to make a sale and deliver the vehicle. But flatly refused to accept responsibility for repairing fault present when delivered, despite pointing out the fault and telling us what we should do to fix it. It will cost £1200 (twelve hundred pounds) to fix. Their excuse was we replaced a part without their prior approval despite their representative telling us what to do. Avoid like the plague at all costs and don't leave a deposit - tell them they will be paid when a fully functioning vehicle is received.
I bought a Nissan Qashqai in July from Eco Motors. The dealership is quite local to me which is good. The dealers were quite helpful and the car was really clean and in very good condition. The value for money is looking good up to now as I have had no issues with the car at all. I have already recommended this dealership to a friend who has now also bought a car from them and I will continue to recommend them.

Eco Motors Stafford Review. Was asked to pay a reffundable holding deposit of £200 over the phone for a used vehicle. Arrive the week after as discussed and arranged to find the vehicle with no mot and not even been cleaned. Faced with excuses I asked for a refund as I did not want the car in its current state. Yes no problem they said will put that back on your card straight away. Over a week later chashed the refund as no sign of it back. Below are actual messages from Eco Motors Stafford. We would need a small deposit to hold the car (£200) I will call you in the morning if your happy to do that over the phone. We will then hold it for you and if you changed your mind then you can have your deposit back. Speak to you in the morning, Cheers. ______________________________ Then this response when I chased the refund. Hi G, Having spoken to the boss he has asked me to email you to tell you that after spending money on a service and an MOT he feels it is only right to refund £100 of your £200 deposit to allow for this and admin charges. Would you like your refund posted to your address if so could you please forward your address so I can get a payment sent out to you asap. Many Thanks. My opinion is to avoid Eco Motors like the plague. Should be reported to trading standards as they give genuine used car dealers a bad name.
