Nightmare Experience with Vauxhall If I could give them minus infinity stars, I would. What should of been 3 years of stress free driving, turned out to be a living hell. I endured incompetent customer service, horrendous management, and cowboy practices which destroyed my mental health. My car, which I only drove for 16,000 miles, has had 3 breakdowns, 2 catalytic converters, 3 sets of spark plugs, 2 coil packs, an engine harness, a hose and a gasket all replaced. Vauxhall Finance and the Ombudsman called this "normal wear and tear"—ludicrous!, i passed this onto 3 separate garages for there opinion who all agreed this was absolutely absurd. Constant let downs, products that i was paying for that didn't deliver and a warranty that's not worth the paper its written on. Fellow blue light holders, steer clear of these rotten cowboys. When i thought things couldn't get worse with this company, step in Vauxhall Baylis. If they were part of the armed forces covenant i would be passing on my displeasure to the board. Absolutely disgusting. Good riddance Vauxhall. 🚗 PS i still never received the service history or service book in the post after 3 years! thanks.

The staff are all over you like a rash when they think they have a sale . After that you are treated as an inconvenience. Fortunately I walked away from the deal after realising this was an ex fleet car that had been driven like it was stolen. They tried to convince me the vehicle was ok by bringing out a mechanic as an ex F1 engineer I think I new better than the grease monkey . DONT go anywhere near this place
Went to buy a car found a few faults and asked to be fixed , Told ok but when I went to collect some were not done . Told we don’t do that after saying they would . For the sake of a pair of disks costing less than £40 they lost the sale. Made me think what the after sales service would be like . If your nearest Vauxhall dealer is Eden I suggest you travel further to find another dealership even of its 100 miles further .

Hello, I will love to share with you my experience with Eden Oxford, We buy for them a little car in 2019 in leasing and two years ago I did an appointment for mot and they did a revision as well, without asking me if we want a revision, and just before Christmas holiday they change me £350. Last year 13 /12/21 we booked another mot 10:15(appointment) specified that I want just the mot, when my partner arrived with the car they told him that he need to leave the car and come back in the afternoon to pick up… I am really disappointed ☹️ about this guys…not professional at all
We purchased our vehicle (2016 Astra) from this garage 5 weeks ago. Since day one it has been nothing but problems. When we got the vehicle, we noticed severe damage to the roof, consisting of deep scratches across the entire roof and 3 medium sized rust patches. When we called the garage about this, they told us to bring it in the following week to have these problems sorted. Their resolution to this was to send the sales guy out with a small pot of touch up paint and simply paint over the rust spots! The garage refused to do anything with the scratches as well, claiming that “It was a second hand vehicle after all,” and that they could have come from a cat! Along side this, it had problems with the brakes, tracking, tyres deflating and the front bumper clip had broken. They just rubbed the pads down to sort out the brake issue, swapped the front wheels over to sort out the tracking issue and refused to sort out the tyres. After getting a report from an independent garage saying that the rear brake pads were unsafe, two tyre valves were leaking, and the front discs needed replacing as well, we contacted the management of Eden who asked us to come in to the garage again a week later. The manager who came in refused to acknowledge the independent report, saying that he “Disagrees with all of this.” He then claimed that they would rub the rust patches down and repaint the roof properly and they would let us know when it was ready. Upon collection of our vehicle, they stated that they had repaired some slight damage to the side of the vehicle that we didn’t know was there and that they had finished the roof saying that it “looks a lot better,” but when we looked, it didn’t seem any different at all! They refused point blank to repair the brakes and one of the valves saying that neither of them had any issues, and that if we wanted to get the brakes repaired, they would do it at a cost to ourselves and that they wouldn’t be using genuine Vauxhall parts! We then took it back to the independent garage and got another report saying that the vehicle is still unsafe, and that they are highly unimpressed with the state of the vehicle. The staff there are extremely helpful until you have actually made a purchase, and then couldn’t care less. We found them to be extremely unprofessional, rude and dishonest. The treatment that we have received from this dealership has been appalling, and we now face starting legal action to resolve the matter since Eden refuse to take ownership of their failings.
We took our car into Eden Vauxhall in Oxford for an MOT recently and were told the car had failed on multiple points. We were told it would cost nearly £2000 to replace and repair what was needed (It is an older car) and that it was unsafe to drive. We decided to tow it to another MOT garage and it not only passed- but they did not find any 'dangerous' faults. All in, we spent under £150 at the second garage simply replacing two parts. We will NOT be returning to Eden Vauxhall.
Hi I got a car back in October 2017 , was told on pcp I could return car any point without paying even a single penny . This month I am trying for mortgage , got refused because of the pcp.if I gave to come off the pcp Eden is asking for 2.5 k for corsa.that too I have paid 5 k already to them on 14k car . Guys and girls please be aware of the sales mans gimmicks , especially I did not wanted the commitments with loan I did re iterated with guy who was selling it to me . Now the Samuel the manager in Oxford is keeping a blind eye . I am completely in a Shambles because of the mis selling . The branch manager has apologised on phone for it . But shying away from admitting the mistake .Guys who ever is going for PCP to Eden please read the terms and conditions Atleast for two to three days and assimilate and don’t trust the manager or sales person there. Don’t know when them lot put you in trouble just like sleepless nights I am having ....
Our recent experience when purchasing our latest car was excellent. The salesman was polite, considerate and most helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be recommending Eden at Kidlington to our family and friends.
Vehicle warranty a disgrace. If your vehicle breaks down there is no recovery service. My vehicle has been off the road for two weeks for a turbo replacement and no Courtesy vehicle has been supplied. A D I have to keep ringing to get updates and being told its waiting for parts. Bad service from Eden Vauxhall Oxford.
