Booked an appointment to view a car but the salesman didn't even turn up to the forecourt and didn't even have the decency to let me know he wasn't going to be there as arranged. Disguisting service, I wouldn't waste your time with this place.

Elland Car Sales are good when they get to you. Some time quick other wise not a bad service could talk more on journey.

Bought a astra last year from Elland Car Sales. 1st car £3000. On way home (live an hour away) engine management light came on, needed over £300 worth of fixing, took it back he fixed it, offered no petrol cost or courtesy car whilst getting fixed said would take 3 days. 6 days later got it back after one of his collegues was using it over the weekend! Coolant leak, Gear box was going and clutch over £1500 to fix, went threw all trading standards sent all correct signed paper work to him never responded to any! His garage he uses next door even said he does half jobs, wish i just asked for a full refund! Basically threw 3grand down drain! He wasnt very helpful, told me i was annoying him by calling all the time cus he never got bk intouch with me! Even put the phone down on me a few times. AVOID AT ALL COST! Useless company! Very unprofessional! Nothing but trouble! Look away from this car company!!!

We bought a vauxhall insignia from Elland Car Sales a month ago less than 2 weeks later the car went into limp mode and wouldn't rev up We took it to our local garage and after inspection told us there were many faults wrong with the car DPF filter needed replacing the turbo had gone the car was over heating and needed a while new cooling system EGR valve had a serious leak and head gasket was about to blow we were quoted around 3 grand to fix the car. We contacted elland car sales and informed them of what had happened as we were still in the 30 day warranty period to be told we needed to get the car to them for inspection which cost us £200 to have the car towed as it was un drivable (we live 1.5 hours away) on arrival with the car we demanded a full refund as the car was not fit for purpose where the owner/manager was very rude and abusive and threatening which resulted in the police being called he refused to give us our refund as he claimed he wasn't the owner and didn't have access to online banking but the owners would be back the following week and we would receive the refund then. On the following Friday when we were due the refund as he put this in writing signed and stamped we did not receive anything until the following day when we threatened court action against them then we only received partial refund. After numerous attempts to contact them over the following week we finally received the remainder yesterday!! The same car now is up for sale for £2495 no way could all that work of been carried out and avoid at all costs. Do not deal with elland car sales.

Me and my wife were looking for a new car for sometime. I saw a few cars on the Elland Car Sales website. I called and arranged to go and see them. I went to see the cars with my wife, and was very delighted. The staff were very helpful. They showed us the cars we had seen on their website. My wife wanted a small car for everyday use. She was taken on several test drives on the cars we had liked. We ended up buying an Astra and must say we are very pleased with the car and the overall dealings with these guys. we would definitely buy again from these guys as I honestly cannot fault anything.

I heard about Elland Car Sales from a friend of mine to buy my first car. I found the staff to be very friendly and extremely helpful! I have seen the negative reviews but i have had no issues with my car and am very happy with the service provided. Will definitely go back to these when I want to change cars!

Poor communication when something goes wrong .Never return calls when they say they will.
