I have just a car from Elland Car sales this weekend, on the ad it showed this sparkling car no faults, had a 12 month MOT, which after buying the car didn't understand due to it having 4 bold tyre, had to pay £185, for new tyres, when I was paying for the car they told me they put 12 months MOT and wont sale a car with less that 6 months MOT, I should of listened to my gut feeling at this point, but the car did look clean on the body and inside the drives seat had so wear on it but nothing major. they had to boot the car to get it started but soon as they took it off the car stopped, so couldn't real do a test drive on out on the main road, they have a storage area about half a mile up the road from the main forecourt where they store the rest of the cars, they said they would put a new battery on they car which I thought was descent of them, picked the car up started first time so they had put the new battery on. driving home the battery light wouldn't go off, so took the car to the garage to get the tyres done asked the to check it and was told the alternator was not working, this on the say day as driving it away didn't have the car a day and its cost another £190 for the alternator and belt. being fitted to day, so waiting for the phone call from the garage to say they found more faults with it. so I called them back to speak to someone about the issues on the car, first time was about the MOT they said we should you it has 2 months on it when I was trying to explain the salesman said about the 12 months on their ad he said that was wrong, and while we was talking twice he answered another phone call and kept we waiting very rude, I have email and phone regarding the extra money am having to fork out due them misleading on their ads about the cars, and being up front with costumers then we can choses to buy or walk away. yes still waiting for them to get back to me, very unprofessional, misleading, costumer service non existent. not looking forward to the MOT. STAY WELL CLEAR!!!

After reading some of Elland Car Sales reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a car from this garage but as the car was priced so well I had to go see the car. Honestly I glad I did pop in not only was the car priced well it also drove really nice and was in good condition not like so dealers I visited before. I would highly recommend this company and I would say to any buyer there is no harm in going to see for your self what this company has to offer. I really took my time to give this company a review as I thought its too early but it now has been nearly 4 months since I purchased my car and I honestly cant be more happy with my purchase Thank you Elland Car Sales

I shopped at Elland Car Sales for my first car and the reception from the seller was very hostile and forceful. The dealer was shouty, sexist and snapped at us when we challenged anything to do with the car's condition. When I went back to buy the car (foolishly) it was obviously faulty - they kept taking it away to the "car wash" but it never came back clean. The atmosphere around the sale was really uncomfortable and when we decided to leave it because it was leaking oil the salesman insisted another employee would be losing his job over it. Absolutely awful experience - I definitely dodged a bullet not buying from here and I hope you do too.

Stay away from Elland Car Sales at all cost. Daughter bought car with full mot (what a joke). Took it to our garage as making noise found many problems so did another mot. Failed badly. Spoke to the garage were very rude said nothing wrong with it. After numerous letters, emails and eventually intervention from citizens advise she got her money back. These people have no idea how to run a business and don’t care about people’s safety.

Bought a car from Elland Car Sales and two hrs later engine management light came on took it back told me nothing wrong came on again took it back they took car for day used 30 pounds of my petrol said nothing wrong car started making noise a week later took it to a proper garage timing chain they masked the problem by filling engine with lots of oil. They played me off till warranty ran out when I phoned again said not his problem. Save your money go somewhere else.

Booked an appointment to view a car but the salesman didn't even turn up to the forecourt and didn't even have the decency to let me know he wasn't going to be there as arranged. Disguisting service, I wouldn't waste your time with this place.

Elland Car Sales are good when they get to you. Some time quick other wise not a bad service could talk more on journey.

Bought a astra last year from Elland Car Sales. 1st car £3000. On way home (live an hour away) engine management light came on, needed over £300 worth of fixing, took it back he fixed it, offered no petrol cost or courtesy car whilst getting fixed said would take 3 days. 6 days later got it back after one of his collegues was using it over the weekend! Coolant leak, Gear box was going and clutch over £1500 to fix, went threw all trading standards sent all correct signed paper work to him never responded to any! His garage he uses next door even said he does half jobs, wish i just asked for a full refund! Basically threw 3grand down drain! He wasnt very helpful, told me i was annoying him by calling all the time cus he never got bk intouch with me! Even put the phone down on me a few times. AVOID AT ALL COST! Useless company! Very unprofessional! Nothing but trouble! Look away from this car company!!!
