I recently started driving again after a 30yr gap. I bought an automatic Mercedes and have just been thrilled with the service. Bought a VW Golf from Elm Tree. James who I dealt with was a pleasure to deal with. I did not test drive or view the car prior to purchase but took it on their word that the car was good. The car was true to their word - beautiful.. On promising to do a service pre-purchase I was very surprised to find that the cam belt and water pump also changed (at 38000mls). Well over the top of what I would have got with a 'two-bit' dealer. Due to the Covid virus the car was delivered to my front door (45mls away) by Roger who spent lots of time explaining things about the car. Brilliant service and a pleasure to do business with a great dealer. Highly recommended. .

Purchased a Freelander 2 through click and collect, James was very helpful and efficient. Three weeks into owning the car it developed problems with the Transfer Box (something that could not be foreseen) . I phoned Elm Tree straight away and the car was taken in for repair, the mechanics were awesome and identified the problem straight away. I was given a courtesy car so i wasnt left without transport. Carly was really helpful, great customer service and kept me informed of the estimated repair times. Really great service by the team all round 👍

But it would be wrong to leave the back room staff out, like the girls who always answered the phone with a polite, helpful and happy tone, thank you girls. Arranging the deal was not problem and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff at Elm Tree Motor Company.
