Visited Evans Halshaw Citroen in Banbury, having had an online quote to sell our Smart car which was in immaculate condition with low mileage. It was a complete waste of time as they offered us half of the online quote so don’t be fooled by the estimate they give. Customer service was poor - a complete lack of interest.

Having bought a used car from the Citroen Banbury branch I was delighted to get it on the road, only for it to be back 24 hours later with multiple issues. I didn't mind that there was still dog hair all over the roof and that the paintwork was covered in holograms and scratches from a terrible valet job, but the car clearly hadn't had an adequate PDI before the handover, so I took it back to the dealer. The service team then proceeded to lie to me and not declare three out of the six issues that were found during the health check and were willing to let me drive away in the car even though it was clearly not fit for sale. It was only when I told them that I knew about the other three faults did they offer me a courtesy car. A week later and apparently all repairs have been rectified, only I am yet to receive verification of this as whenever I call and ask them to send me proof it falls on deaf ears and I'm brushed to the side. Awful customer service and aftercare from everyone involved. Very untrustworthy people who care more about profit margins and overheads than their customers. Avoid this place at all costs!!!
Thankful I didn’t purchase the car Visited the Banbury store and didn’t purchase at the time Having sent emails and tried calling via the call centre whom will pass details to the Dealership NO REPLY after 4 days If this is the service prior to purchase I dread to think what the after sales service would be AVOID
Called in to Evans Halshaw Citroen Banbury yesterday (28.08.18) at 9am. Stood in front of the man on the desk while he was dealing with another customer. He didn't acknowledge me or even say sorry I'll be a few minutes. The other man sitting at the desk didn't even look up but definitely knew I was there. I waited for twenty minutes and left without uttering a single word to anyone. Called in again this morning around the same time, this time the man at the desk was almost finished with a customer so I got to talk to him. I told him my problem and he had no idea what he was doing. He just didn't listen. He then took my number and said he would call back in 15-25 minutes with a suggestion. It is now 2.45pm!! No call, nor will there be. They don't care unless you're standing right in front of them. The service manager is great, but getting to him is incredibly difficult. I would never buy a vehicle from this dealership on this basis.
I did call Evans Halshaw Citroen Banbury few times under number 01295759315,they took my details and my phone number and promise they will contact me same day later and I will get more details about the car on my email etc,. THEY never call me back, totally ignored me as a customer. So in my opinion they don't really care about customers. Very disappointing with they customer service unfortunately.
