Evans Halshaw Customer Concerns. Today me and my dad came to show room in Batley, with the intention to test drive and buy a Citroen c3. We greeted by John (in used car show room). His attitude from the moment we met was very uninviting. The car which we intended to purchase had a flat battery, which John didnt seem too bothered by, despite us making the journey especially to test drive the vehicle. We where then told we couldnt test drive the vehicle as it wouldn't be safe despite just having had an mot. Johns attitude was disgraceful, he didnt seem concerned at all that we couldnt test drive the vehicle. It was asif he wasnt interested. Then we asked for the manager, which he said there wasnt one working. Which was a lie, as we went into the new car show room and was told by a member of staff the manager was around. The managers details where given to my father, who then rung the number once we where home. The manager apologised on the phone and arranged for my dad to to test drive the vehicle on monday 18 april. Within half an hour the manager had rung saying the car had sold without him knowing. Overall the attitude of both staff and managers is disgusting. Not on bit of customer service skills are known to either of them. Therefore i would advise everyone to avoid this dealership as none of them know what is going on at all. The careless attitude is unbelievable!!!
